Two Weeks Later............
Hakeem was released from the hospital three days ago. Tiana had offered for him to stay with her and Ava till he recovered. His parents wanted him to come to the Lyon estate, but thought it was best that Ava was under one roof with her parents. The past three days of having Hakeem living temporarily with Tiana has been an adjustment.
Tiana: Take it easy. (Helping Hakeem to his bed)
The doctor had Hakeem walking on a cane due to possible back injury. Tiana and Hakeem agreed that he should stay in the guest room. She has been a big help for Hakeem these last two weeks.
Hakeem: Thanks T. (Slowly sitting down on the bed)
Tiana: You're welcome. Do you need anything else?
Hakeem: Yeah. (Looks up) You.
Tiana: (blushing) Hakeem.
Hakeem: I'm being forreal. There's no point of playing these games, let's just be together. I'm not going to hurt you again Tiana.
Tiana: I hear you okay. But we shouldn't rush anything.
Hakeem: Tiana life is too short to not rush anything. I know you love me and I love you.
Tiana: Hakeem that all sounds good, but honestly I don't trust you.
Hakeem: T I thought we were past that.
Tiana: (cross arms) We are, but that doesn't mean I fully trust you again. Hell I don't even trust myself when I'm around or with you. I'm so afraid of another heartbreak that I don't even trust myself.
Hakeem: Babe I'm not going to mess up like I did in the past. Tiana look into my eyes. (Looks in his eyes) I'm not going to hurt you anymore.
Tiana: (snaps into reality) I need to check on Ava. Just let me know if you need anything. (Walks out the room)
Hakeem: Fuck. (Smacks lips)
Ava's Room...........
Tiana: (walking into the the room) Are you ready for bed Miss. Ava?
Ava: (jumping on the bed) Nope.
Tiana: (giggles) Well little missy stop jumping on the bed. Because it's time to get in bed.
Ava: (stops jumping and flops down onto bed) Aww man.
Tiana: Aww man is right. (Tucking Ava in) Now you're snugged and tucked into bed.
Ava: Mommy why aren't you and daddy together?
Tiana: Why do you ask that? (Rubbing Ava's hair)
Ava: Most of my friends parents are together.
Tiana: And......
Ava: You and daddy should be together so we can be a real family.
Tiana: Baby we are a real family.
Ava: Not if you and daddy aren't together.
Tiana: (sighs) Look....me and daddy have long history. Just because we're not together (gtco)
Ava: Yeah yeah...I know y'all love me and all that.
Tiana: (looks shocked) Little missy.
Ava: Don't you love my daddy?
Tiana: Yes, bu (gtco)
Ava: Okay then marry him.
