Ava: (giggling) Higher mommy! Higher!
Tiana was pushing Ava on the swings. Hakeem was suppose to meet them at the park. Tiana was kinda nervous.
Hakeem: Hello ladies. (Walking up to them)
Ava: Hakeem! Mommy stop the swing!
Ava was so excited to see Hakeem again. It really brought Tiana some joy to see how excited she was. Ava went straight from the swing and hugged Hakeem's leg.
Hakeem: I have something for you. (Removing a small bouquet of flowers from his back) These are for you princess.
Ava: And they're my favorite color, pink. Look mommy.
Tiana: I see. They're beautiful. What do you say?
Ava: Thank you.
Hakeem: (smiles) You're welcome and this is for you mommy. (Handing Tiana flowers)
Tiana: (smiles) Thank you.
Ava: Hakeem lets play. (Tugging at his hand) Here mommy. (Placing her flowers in Tiana's hands)
Tiana laughed to herself as Ava was pulling Hakeem towards the slide. She couldn't believe how fast Hakeem grew on Ava and she's only knew him for a day. Tiana sat on the park bench and watched as Hakeem and Ava played.
Ava: How do you know my mommy?
Hakeem: Your mommy and I were the best of friends a long time ago.
Ava: But mommy has never talked about you.
Hakeem: Mommy hasn't seen me in a while. I left along time ago and it hurted mommy feelings.
Ava: Did you say sorry?
Hakeem: Yes, but let's not talk about me and mommy right now. I want to know about you Miss. Ava. What your favorite food?
Ava: I really love pizza.
Hakeem: What kinda of pizza do you like?
Ava: Pepperoni. What about yours?
Hakeem: I like pepperoni too.
Ava: What's your favorite color?
Hakeem: Gold.
Hakeem and Ava talked about all of their favorite things. He learned that she loves to play with dolls and when she turns five, she wants a big princess party in a castle. Besides all the things she like, he learned that she's very smart and loves going to school.
Ava: Do you like my mommy?
Hakeem: (chuckles) Why do you ask that?
Ava: Because I think my mommy likes you.
Hakeem: Well I like your mommy, but we have to keep it a secret. (Ava starts to giggle)
Tiana: What are you two talking about? (Walking up to them)
Ava: Nothing, Hakeem told me secret.
Tiana: Oh really? Can you tell mommy?
Ava: Nope it's our secret. (Wrapping her pinky around Hakeem's pinky)
Tiana: (chuckles) Okay missy. Let's let Hakeem take a break from playing. (Ava nods)
Tiana and Hakeem walked to a near park bench and watched Ava play.
