It's been 6 months since the the funeral. What happened to deccy? Well let's say he just protects fresh.
How's fresh? He feels like he's being haunted. He wants to get away from whatever is doing things to people who hurt him. He misses deccy a lot, and well let's say he hasn't been taking it well.
~fresh pov~
Ever since decs funeral i haven't been myself. I go visit him and well i can't lie now can i? i miss him... i can't deny that, he meant a lot to me, he was my only friend, i can still remember the days we hung out together....
~flashback~
(no ones pov)
it was a sunny day, fresh and deccy where talking. deccy looked at fresh "do you think we'll still be friends when we grow up?" fresh looked down ad smiled "i think so dec bro" deccy smiled and got up "come on let's go to the forest!" fresh nodded and got up, ready to follow his friend.
Once they arrive, deccy started trying to climb a tree, and as usual fresh watched him to make sure he doesn't get hurt. Deccy sat on a branch ad looked at the surroundings "oh there's a river near by! want to check it out?" Fresh nodded "where to?" he asked his friend. Deccy got down and started walking to where to river is "over here!" Fresh followed his friend "alright".
When they arrived Deccy went into the water a little, Fresh was watching knowing fully his friend didn't know how to swim. It didn't take long for deccy to fall and had to get help from his friend.
Fresh looked at deccy making sure he was ok."you know I'll always be here to protect you deccy!" Said the taller skeleton, "you mean it?" The smol asked, fresh nodded "of course deccy dec!"
(End of flash back)
~fresh's pov~
Before i knew it i was at the exact same river we were at as kids. I didn't notice it at first but now i realized something, i promised him I'd protected him. And yet i failed, and now? He's gone, it's all my fault.. Why did i promise something i couldn't keep? Why is feeling emotions so difficult!? Why did he die? Why did he leave me?
I guess for now it's clear to say that today i had a blast from the past....
