CHAPTER 12

This day of course was a really good morning for all of us as we all were gonna visit some of the really best places in Goa and it was even Chavi's birthday.

The morning started with a song that was played in the villa for waking us up. We can relate it to the waking up thing from BIG BOSS. Although we were half asleep but the songs made so energetic to just wake up and freshen ourselves.

But there was me, the lazy bum of all times. I still didn't wake up. Chavi decided to call Eeshan and Jeet to wake me up. They came near my ear and just shouted so loud that I felt my ears couldn't hear anything further. I was shocked and my eyes were filled with tears as I got scared. Though i didn't cry.

"We're so sorry Aashia, we really mean to scare you. We were just having some fun. Please don't cry", said Jeet holding me and trying to comfort me. My God, he was really holding. There were these butterflies again,no wait, actually not only the butterflies but the whole zoo anybody can say. That's what I actually felt. I said, "It's ok, I just got a little scared." With a sigh of relief they got up and invited me down. But by the time I could come down everybody decided to freshen up theirselves and get ready for having some delicious breakfast.

We had the whole day planned out too well. We dressed up and by 10:00 AM and everybody was there waiting for Chavi and me to walk on that Red Carpet and everybody looking at us as if we were some celebs! Of course we were late again!

I had worn one of the best sleeveless frock with that glittery make up which looked like STAR DUST GLISTENING ON FAIRIES WINGS. Everybody was amazed by my looks and there was Jeet looking at me with his mouth and eyes wide open.

I had to go down and tell him to close his mouth so that a fly might not go in.

So firstly, we all planned to go out to a restaurant for breakfast. I enjoyed my pancakes for sure and an orange juice.

Then uncle and aunt told that we would enjoy Kayaking. I guess this would be teh first time for me to experience a sport of kayaking. I had never played it before.

The visitors who visit for kayaking say that "Kayaking in the backwards of Goa could be an experience of a lifetime." Truely said it was. We took 2 rafts that was each for 4 people. In one raft there was Chavi, Jeet, Eeshan and me. The other raft was taken by Rashi, Khushi, Rohan and Kahan.

As were were about to start they told us to wear the life guards for the precautionary measure. Although I didn't like it cause I knew I would look a bit fat and my pictures wouldn't come that good. But after all precautions and following the rule is a must. So we wore it and they held us with 4 rowers. Sitting besides him, enjoying, giggling and gently gliding through the calm waters was just awsome. As we get close to the birds and the occasional dolphins it gives us a tranquil experience. We could even see the villages, churches and even the daily life of the Goanese people.

We took some beautiful pictures that gave us the best memories of me Kayaking for the first ever time! I really enjoyed with them. It felt like these four were just meant for me.

After we completed the water sport we decided to visit a Spice Plantation. We reached there by around 11:30 AM. There we could feel the fresh aroma of the spices, learn how they were grown at the spice plantation in Goa. We saw the world's hottest chillie called Peri Peri. There were so many exotic birds.

Completing with some freshness we planned to visit the most iconic fort called the Aguada Fort. Built several centuries back in 1612, the strategically located fort was the most prized structure for the Portuguese rulers. So taking some advantage we clicked some captivating views and pictures of ourselves. By the time we left, our stomachs started growling so we all decided to have our lunch.

We picked some of the best restaurant and enjoyed our lunch. Then, we decided to have fun at the beach. I mean, of course, we cannot miss the beach if we are in Goa. By 5 PM we decided to go to the Baga Beach. We were already in the clothes that were suitable for the beaches so we didn't have to get ourselves changed. It is said that Baga Beach is more fun in the evening and nights more than the day times. We even love the pleasant weather at night.

We chose the best spot to gather and sit. Except me, I guess everybody was allowed to drink. I was that Nerd with glasses. Although aunt and uncle said that it's fine, they wouldn't tell this to my parents. I still had some second thoughts but then Jeet offered me a glass of wine. Now I don't think I would deny him atleast. It was my first ever time trying a drink. But, we knew we didn't have to get high on it.

After some drink and chit-chatting I wanted to have  a long walk alone in that comfy breeze. While walking and enjoying the weather and the sound of the waves I spotted Jeet coming towards me from the opposite side, so I waited for him. He just asked me of what I was doing, walking alone. The only thing I could say that I was enjoying the beautiful view and the Blissful weather. As it was beginning to dawn and then night  the weather was getting pretty cool. He noticed me covering my arms with my hands as even teh slightest wind was giving me goosebumps. As he saw this he removed his jacket and put it over my shoulders like you could imagine a romantic scene in a Bolywood movie. We had a two minute stare at each other but couldn't continue because Chavi steated shouting, "Guys it's alreday late and we have to leave so come fast." So we had to go.

We reached the house by around 11:45 PM. Now it was time to Chavi her presents that we had bought for her. We all settled around in the hall with Chavi in the middle of circle.

Everybody gave her some of best and expensive gifts like headphones, a pair of new Nike Shoes, a brand new Lakmè makeup set including brushes and a lot more. I was kinda nervous about my gift cause mine wasn't as expensive like them. When it was my turn to give the gift my hands shivered. When she opened the gift she gave me the biggest smile and the coziest hug like she just got everything she wanted. She screamed,"Why were you so scared? You gave me the best gift! This is the dress I always wanted, and how did you get to know?!" And I said, "Once while we were walking our way home you saw this dress in a shop which was too expensive, but then I decided that I wanted to gift you this, so I started saving my pocket money for this dress." After listening to this, she again hugged me tightly and we all were laughing.

We were too tired to play the D2 again. As we were roaming the whole day. So we again decided to get ourselves changed and get to sleep. It's fine we can play D2 anytime later.

I got myself changed. I couldn't control my smile on what happened today. Chavi smirked," What has happened, why are you smiling so much?" I said, "Nothing just enjoyed my day too much with all of you. Well, once again Happiest Birthday Day Darling! I'm sorry we couldn't hold a grand party though." She said while paying my back, "Duhh..it's fine, I enjoyed it too much and thanks for the gift ya!" "Your're welcome", I said and we went off too sleep.
