Sabine

I was just trying to get some extra money to eat. To survive.

This werewolves didn't understand... they didn't understand what it felt like being stupidly poor!

The money my parents sent me wasn't enough, and I knew they did the best they could, but the prices here were ridiculous even to get a proper meal, buy the different uniforms I needed for each specific classes, the material I needed for school and Wi-Fi for research and well, my blog.

I came up with the bright idea of making laundry for these rich folks, since they were so lazy to do something so basic.

It was the perfect plan. I did it for almost two months and my business couldn't get better! I had so many requests, that I had to turn some of them down in order to get some time to study and rest.

I even made sure that there was nothing against it in the school regulations, so I was surprised in the morning Principal Cirus called me to his office.

Once I got there, I found a very angry Adele, an alpha daughter, sitting in front of Principal Cirus.

"Sit, Ms. Grace." Principal Cirus said, with a warm smile.

My hands were shaky. I was really anxious, and the sound of Adele's hitting against the floor wasn't helping me at all.

"So, Sabine-"

"You stole my earrings human girl, admit it." She accused me.

I blinked a few times, trying to process that information. What?

"Steal? Me? Why would I steal your earrings?" I asked confused. I could be poor, but I didn't steal. That was something my parents taught me.

"They are diamond earrings, bitch. Real diamonds! Something your dirty human hands never touched-"

"Enough, Adele." Principal cirus finally spoke and looked at me. "If you admit it now, you will only be expelled from the academy. If you don't, we will have to take this to the student's court. And the consequences will be disastrous. This will be in the federal police's hands, because you stole from an Alpha's daughter."

My eyes burned, and tears blurred my vision as I made my decision. If I plead guilty, I would just go back home and I wouldn't drag a problem to my family. But I wasn't guilty. I did not steal from this girl!

But I knew how this society was unfair with us humans. They would declare that I was guilty without even exploring the case, because I was a poor human girl.

I wiped my tears and looked at Adele, who had a satisfied smirk on her pale face.

"Student's court will be then." I said, trying to sound confident.

"Girl, your life could get ruined after this!" Principal Cirus said.

"I cannot admit to do something I know I did not do!" I insisted.

"Stop lying, I nobody had access to my spare keys, except you!" Adele accused me again.

"I did not steal them!" I got up from the chair, enraged!

"Yes you did!"

"Both of you! Shut up!" Principal Cirus shouted at us.

I sat again and apologized.

"Sabine, is this your final answer?" Principal Cirus asked me.

I nodded. "Yes, I'm innocent."
