Mr.Cone's POV

Looking down at my grey shimmering wristwatch it read 12:03.  crap, I'm a little behind.

Wait... Jonathan's class is in the library, which means that I'm not late!

alright!

Jogging down the hallway I caught their class leaving the library. They were bunched up in groups with smiling faces and books in their hands

Except one.

y/n was standing in the back mindlessly peering around the room at all the kids

I wonder if she had noticed what I did...That she was standing all alone.

Paying more attention to her I noticed that her hair was unkept and she had small, but noticeable bags under her eyes. It makes me wonder what is happening at home to make her so tired. I hope nothing has happened at home

for some reason a thought popped up in my head that made me mad. What if she had a boyfriend and he cheated on her or is treating her wrongly. Why would anybody do that? Of all the people in the school, she is the one who least deserves it. The thought made me upset and I couldn't seem to keep my anger low.

She deserves better.

She deserves the best.

 She deserves me!

The teacher had walked over to me and was talking to me but I couldn't focus on her words. What had I just said?

I turned my eyes to y/n

What did I mean by that?

I looked down at my hand and an image flashed in my mind. A smaller daintier hand in mine. My eyes widened.

What the heck?

I turned to Mrs.burch. I felt sick to my stomach. "I'm so sorry i-i have to go to the bathroom!" worry flashed across the older lady's face but she nodded her head anyway. I rushed over towards the door.  Throwing a quick glance over my shoulder only then did y/n and my eyes meet.

                                                                .    .    .    .    .     .   .    .   .   .

I sat on the toilet in the bathroom stall looking up at the white ceiling tiles. I don't need to freak out, what I had said was a miss thought. I obviously I didn't mean to think that.

3rd person

He tried to tell himself he doesn't believe what he had thought; that he liked y/n more than a student somehow.

Once he had thought he convinced himself he stood up and walked out of the stall, washing his hands and then walking out of the bathroom.

When he walked into their English class, he leaned against the wall with the windows at the side of the class. The kids were sitting in rows and there was a bookshelf filled with books at the back of the room. The room wasn't the biggest classroom he had ever seen but it was a good size for their 20 person class.

As he sat in their English class, he thought about the first week he was here in this school. He had met so many awesome people. Most of the girls hit on him, and even though he was used to it, it was was still slightly uncomfortable. He thought that y/n would be the same way when he kept on catching her staring at him.

It seems like such a funny thought now... oh how wrong he had been about her.

Sorry for the month long wait. Things have been crazy. I hope you all had a great Halloween!! I'm going to try and get the show on the road with this story, so I might update soon.
