Never Imagined You'd Be In Love With Me - A Miraculous Ladybug Fanfic

Prologue

Hi! I love miraculous ladybug as well, but for my Winx Club fans out there don't worry there will still be updates for the other fanfic. 

Adrien Agreste always thought that deep down his father loved him. Even if he was just a stone column, Adrien had always hoped that his father was just affected by his mother's sudden death. Out of everything that he knew his father was, being the france-renowned Hawkmoth was not one of them. 

When he, Chat Noir, and Ladybug had unmasked him as Gabriel Agreste, he had wanted to have nothing to do with man infront of him. The worst part? It was that the two parental figures in his life were super villains. 

Adrien's, as the civillian's, heart had sunk and wanted nothing but to have both Natalie and his father set free from prison, but as Chat Noir, one of the two super heroes in France, he had to do his duty and that was to protect Paris and its people. 

Marinette Dupain-Cheng was worried. She was concerned for Adrien's wellbeing. After unmasking Hawkmoth and Mayura as Gabriel and Natalie, she had wanted nothing but to turn back time. It was clear that Chat Noir was also shocked. She didn't know why, but he seemed upset about the final reveal of the two super villains. (A/N YOU STUPID!!!!) 

As time passed she saw Chat Noir less and less. Without any super villains in Paris, there really wasn't a point of them being there. She had grown a lot too. She had let her hair grow out and released them from their pigtails every so often. 

As Marinette, she had seen less and less of Adrien. After Gabriel Agreste was revealed to be Hawkmoth. Marinette knew that the Agreste name would have been dirtied and as a friend of Adrien's  and feeling guilty for throwing him in the situation she wanted to help him. 

After graduating France DuPont high, she had helped him. Alya, Nino and herself picked Adrien up from the shadows and rebuilt the team. Adrien modelled and managed the company, Marinette had designed clothes and helped in managing, Alya had taken care of publicity and advertisement and Nino was in charge of different events that the company had thrown. 

Marinette had gotten over her crush as well. She had dated around. Not knowing her type, she just didn't want to get hung up on a one sided love anymore. 

Chat seemed surprised and a little sad the first time he had stepped into her room and there were no pictures of his own face plastered on the wall. His civillian self was also very displeased when Marinette had started dating different people. He didn't know why. (A/N YOU IDIOT TOO) 

He was especially unhappy when Marinette had started going out with Luka 9 months after the event, but he had to admit he had done his fair sharing of going out with different girls. Mostly to get over the unsettling event and the shifty feeling he was getting when Ladybug and him had stopped meeting and when Marinette had seen other guys. After a year, he had gone back to Kagami hoping that he would be getting some sort of familiar feeling back. 

Marinette was unphased by Adrien going out with Kagami, which Adrien had been disappointed by, she was actually incredibly happy for him and her friend. She had asked Kagami to join the Agreste team as one of the models. Kagami had happily agreed, not just for Adrien but also to spend more time with friends. She seemed to open up a lot more with all the time she had started spending with Marinette. She couldn't explain the feeling Marinette gave her (A/N no she's not lesbian [sorry my brain just goes that way]), she felt safe and at home, she felt like she was wanted somewhere. This had improved her mood and this improved her other extra-curricular activities, which had pleased her mother. 

The Dupain-Cheng bakery was doing great in business. With Marinette making a name for herself in the fashion industry their bakery was doing better by the day. After a long day of work, Marinette would go home just in time to help for a little while before they closed the doors for the day and prepared for the baking for the next day. When she brought her friends over they were more than happy to accommodate to their every need despite Marinette's insists of them being fine.

Chloe Bourgeois' personality had completely changed. She was worried for her friend, she used to think that she was in a poor situation until she saw Adrien's. Her attitude towards Marinette had changed to, much to Nathaniel's happiness. She seemed more wary of others than herself, which had surprised Sabrina. Her kindness had really seeped through because Marinette invited her to be a fellow designer in the Agreste brand. She had also trusted her when she found out that Marinette was Ladybug when she caught her speaking to Tikki. As a fellow miraculous, she instantly recognised the kwami and promised secrecy. Marinette and Chloe would let both of their kwamis catch up.

Luka knew deep, deep, deep down within her Marinette still had feelings for Adrien. She didn't act like it nor would she ever admit it but similar to his feelings for her, they won't go away so easily. Luka didn't change, he was still the sweet soul that he was and waited until Marinette was ready for him. He didn't pressure her and wouldn't ever do so. He was also prepared for when her feelings for Adrien resurfaced, he would set her free even if it hurt him.

Nathaniel was one of the people that Marinette had tried going out with. Both of them thought that it really didn't work out and remained friends. Nathaniel wanted to find someone who was kind but not a pushover, gentle but brave and was able to make up her mind. He had noticed Chloe's big change in characters and admired her for it. When he thought about her everyday that's when he knew he had fallen head over heels for her, little did he know that she had for him as well. Marinette had offered him a position in the Agreste brand, to help him get closer to Chloe, as the official drawer for ads, but he also helped out with the designing different outfits.

Rose and Juleka had tried going out but both of them had agreed that they were better off as just friends. Rose had reconnected with prince Ali and ended up visiting his kingdom of Achu a lot. Rose had extended the Agreste brand overseas while there and their clothes and ads became very popular.

Juleka decided to chase her dreams of being a model and after a little persuading from Marinette and Luka she had joined the Agreste brand too. She became really popular and loved by all. When she was overseas in Japan she had met a fellow model named Haruto, they worked together day and night and he had agreed to go back to Paris with her eventually joining the Agreste brand and becoming Juleka's boyfriend.

Ivan and Mylene had travelled the world after graduating France DuPont high they talked to their friends and looked at their progress through Alya's blog. Although they weren't able to join them they were happy for them. After 4 years, Ivan, with the help of Marinette, had picked up the courage to ask Mylene for a hand in marriage. Mylene was overjoyed and said yes within one millisecond.

Alya's Ladyblog had unfortunately stopped updating after the disappearance of both the superheroes. However, the Agreste blog was booming with new posts and millions of fans from all over the world were waiting at their screens refreshing the page every second for a new update, whether if it's a new design from Marinette or a new modelling pic from Adrien or a new evenr they all became quite impatient.

Nino worked as a part time DJ and part time events planner for Adrien. He was happy for the boy and Marinette. But most of all he treasured his relationship with Alya. They had arguments almost everyday, but they loved a good debate and thought that their relationship was amazing. When they reached the age of 21 Nino had written a song for Alya got down on one knee and proposed. Alya had cried and answers with an inaudible yes.
