Leah

An ear-piercing scream echoed throught deadly silent night. Huge clouds covered the moon and the stars were nowhere to be seen. It was gloomy and dark all around me, exept for one ray of moonlight that succeded in getting throught the clouds. It shed light on a lifeless body in front of me. Glistening in the moonlight was the carcass of my dearest friend Lucy. Her eyes were drained of her usual cheerfulness and her face was alarmingly pale. Her chest was wide open and her organs out on display for the locals to see. I felt the energy, that was still left in me after multiple fights, now leaving me. I coundn't stand anymore, my legs felt wobbly and my sight started blurring. The last thing I remember before falling unconscious was a pair of strong, ice-cold hands wrapping themselves around my cutted waist.
