A LOUD BOOM CAME FROM THE MOUTH OF THE HALL, THE THINGS IN FRONT OF THEM CRUMBLING DOWN ONE AFTER ANOTHER. He felt the warmth of their blood splattered on his face as a body tackled him to the ground. The booming left his ears ringing and he froze. It almost reminded him of the explosive blond. His eyes were shut tight as tears fell from his eyes; why wasn't there any pain? Suddenly the booming stopped.

He slowly opened his eyes to find a panting girl above him with a gun in her hand. He froze up once more as blood dripped down the side of her face. "Are you okay?" Midoriya simply stared— was that english she was speaking? Noticing her mistake she let out a cough and stood up, pulling the green-haired boy up after her. "Are you okay?" she repeated, this time in Japanese.

The boy nodded as the others rushed up behind him. She tore away from him as they surrounded Midoriya, scolding him and suffocating with hugs. It shocked her; she'd never seen a group of boys act like that before. With a sigh, she turned around, stepping over the rotters to leave.

"W-wait, where are you going?"

She turned back around, "to find someone." "Who?" The girl groaned softly and muttered things in English they couldn't hear or fully understand. More growls came, from the other end of the hallway this time. "Shit." Destroyed bodies of strangers appeared before them, "we have to go now if you want to live."

Bakugo growled; he wasn't going to let this girl just walk up and tell them what to do, even if she did just save his childhood enemy which he kind of cared for. But then again, he wasn't up for dying- turning into whatever those things were. The group of classmates looked to one another before nodding. She jogged to the staircase they had just come from and opened the door— they stopped.

They didn't want to see Uraraka's body.

"C'mon, let's go," she said with reluctance. She really didn't want to deal with this and maybe even find her friend but with this many things roaming about, there was no way they survived. She let out a small 'tch' at the lack of movement from the boys and increasing growls from the rotten. "There were things back down there," Sero grumbled, running his hand through his shorter hair.

"I got rid of them on my way up. We'll be fine," she sighed, "let's go now." "What do you mean got rid of?" She looked to the green-haired boy who she had saved earlier who's eyes burned with unmeasurable anger. Her eyes narrowed, "exactly what it sounds like?"

Midoriya rushed forward and grabbed her by her shirt collar, tears now streaming down his face. "You killed her!" She huffed and grabbed his wrists before raising her leg and kicking out the back of his knee. He fell to the ground, rebounding for a second attack. His fist flew out and she blocked it before throwing an uppercut to his chin.

"I didn't kill anyone!" she defended stepping back in defense. Realizing her outburst, she coughed once more as the green haired boy rubbed his chin gingerly. "You can't kill these things, only knock them out." Salt stung her eyes as she blinked harshly. "We have to go up now." Hesitantly they marched forward, Todoroki freezing the door.

They marched up the almost never ending stairs until finally reaching the roof. No words were exchanged during their ascent— it was almost peaceful. Yet the growls of the people who were betrayed by their own quirks reminded them with every step.

Todoroki froze the door shut behind them for the third time and she slid down the ice behind her. "S-so," began Kaminari, "what's your name?" Her breath was cut short as she stated at the ground. "Shiryo (y/n)," she answered, brushing her short hair behind her ear, "just call me (y/n) though." The blond nodded awkwardly before regrouping with the other boys that stood away from her.

She fidgeted until she could push off her backpack, beginning to dig for water. She quickly uncapped it and took a sharp gulp. As she put it down, she noticed the stares of the boys in front of her. With a sigh, she pushed it towards them. "Drink some. We might be here for a bit longer," she stated," while we're at it, how about an introduction.

The boys nodded quickly, taking a sip before each introduction. "So I'm gonna have to survive with eight boys on my hands, huh?" she whispered, as the water bottle was passed back, now practically empty. She threw it back in her bag and stood up with a pop of her joints. A small thump came from the door causing them to jump.

She looked behind her to see the ice cracked and let out a large groan. (y/n) quickly sauntered over to the fence that was placed around the perimeter. It was tall but chain-link was easy to break so it wouldn't be too hard to get through. Her eyes focused on the cluster of bodies near the school— more specifically the entrance. She looked towards the dorms who were bare of any things.

She looked down at her gun, checking the ammo only to be met with a few bullets left. She had a few extra in her bag but not enough to break through the barricade of monsters. If they could make a slide— her mind flashed to the kid with half-and-half hair. She turned to face the boys who were bracing themselves for the things that banged on the door. The ice was cracking and melting. She cursed the summer sun under her breath before running up to them.

She eyed the bag in a dark-haired boy's hand. His name is Iida, remember? She quickly took the boy's hand and dragged him away; he was closer to the door than the other's. "Todoroki, you think you could make a slide towards the dorms?" she asked as they followed behind her. "Yes," he replied quickly as the banging grew louder. Now to get someone who could blast it off. Her gut said to go for the ash blond. "Bakugo, what's your quirk?" "I can make explosions using my sweat—"

"Good, blast the fence off."

A grin spread across his face, "don't tell me what to do extra!" The barrier flew off, hitting the monsters below them. Suddenly, the ice broke leaving the monsters to fly out with loud growls. "Todoroki!" "On it." She pulled the gun from her holster and began shooting one after the other in the head. It was a large group for sure and she began getting closer to the edge. "Fuck," she cried in her native tongue.

Midoriya, the last to slide down, let out a small scream at the sight of (y/n) struggling. She looked back just as her bullets ran out, a monster tackling her to the floor. Her breath hitched— she hadn't gotten so close to one before. It bit into her arm, ripping out the flesh as she screamed. Midoriya struggled as he tried to climb back up to save her.

Her hand flew down to her side, pulling a knife from her belt. She stabbed it in the head, leaving it to fall on her. It's saliva coated her neck as she focused on her wound. She would turn if it went unchecked. "(y/n)! Are you okay?!" She reached into her bag, ripping out a bandaid large enough to cover it.

EVERYTHING WILL BE OKAY.
