Chapter 9

New Threat!

A month Later...

" I can't believe we're going to be in our Senior Year in a month! " Peter chuckled and Y/n nodded. " I hope it's going to be good. I don't want it
ruined. "

" Yeah, well. It'll be same I guess. We just have to change from sophomores to Seniors. " Y/n giggled and Peter smiled at her.

" Ice Cream? " Peter asks and Y/n beams at him. " Sure. " They walk in and get their favorites, heading towards the grocery store for some snacks. Suddenly, there was a huge storm and everything started to shake. Y/n yelped and grabbed onto Peter, looking around.

" What's happening? " She yelled over the loud air rustling past her ears. " I don't know but it's bad. Let's go! " He says andY/n nodded turned to leave before both of them were blasted and went flying back.

Y/n focused hard before they'd hit the ground and they hovered and landed less painfully. She just hoped Peter didn't notice it but of course he did.

" Whoa! " He says looking around and Y/n sighed. He helped her up, eyeing her up and down and his eyes met hers, causing Y/n's heart to miss a beat. " You okay? " He asks grabbing her shoulders and led her to an alleyway.

" Stay here, I'll get some help! Don't. Move. "
He says and before she could say anything, Peter had ran off. He was glad he had his suit with him, wearing under his casual clothes. Y/n looked at the mess around and whipped around when she heard a thud.

" Oh, well! Look who's hiding? " Says the girl and Y/n frowned. " Who are you? " She asks and the girl laughed evilly. She had a all black suit, her face covered with a black cat mask and she had a silver hair, that we're glowing slightly.

" Oh, I'm Serena and I'm just here for your powers. You see, from our planet, we were looking for signals and I got one from here, and found out it's some girl named Y/n L/n, " She says taking a step closer and Y/n widened her eyes.

" Stop all this mess! You're hurting innocents. We can talk this through! " Y/n says and she laughed.

" My dear, Y/n. Peacemaking is quite a thing in your personality but not mine. I need your powers, I'll get them. " She says and Y/n took a deep breath.

" Let's just get this over with, than. " Y/n says, holding her hands out and formed two fireballs in her clutched fists.

" You are no competition to me, Y/n. I'm here to convince you. Not fight you. Come with us and we rule the world together. " She says and Y/n ignored her speech, shooting both the balls towards her and she crossed her arms, the fireballs stopping infornt of her face. She could feel the heat readiating and she pushed them back towards Y/n.

Y/n didn't even do anything to protect herself because the fire balls simply passed and she consumed it. Serena smiled wickedly and raised an eyebrow impressed.

" I'm impressed. You've mastered the powers you have. " She says and Y/n clenched her jaw.

" Look, just stop all of this. I don't want to hurt you! " Y/n warned hotly and Serena smirked. " Try me. "

She says and points her hand at the small child behind her, crying , and his gaze in another direction.

" Oh, no you don't. " Y/n says and pushes a gust of air towards her, knocking her on the ground and instantly raised her hands, concentrating on the particles in the air and covered Serena in a ball of water, suffocating her.

Keeping her in for enough time to knock her out, Y/n let her hands fall back to her sides and took a sigh of relief. Serena sat up, but she wasn't like herself, her eyes were of different colour and she acted like she was possessed.
