Chapter 4

This is Cloud. Sorry if it is terrible lol. Im still learning how to draw dragons a little better.

Cloud was there before her when usually it was the other way around. Her injury just slowed her down but she needed to do this. She needed to remember what happened. "You sure you want to do this" Cloud asked "Especially after..." She nodded "Okay" he said hesitantly "I'm here if you need me." She nodded again. "Okay let's go Star." She walked to where she had been that night. She saw a dragon behind her. He was tan and brown. He pushed her off the edge. And that's why she plummeted. She looked up at Cloud and tried to say"I know what happened" but it came out "iwowwe happened." she could say things that were jumbled just not actual sentences yet. "You know what happened?" he said with full attention. She nodded. "What happened?" he asked worriedly. "What happened to you?" she wrote someone pushed me off the edge cricudly in the dirt. "WHAT" he yelled suddenly angry. "WHO WHERE ARE THEY?" he had never been that scary. She curled up in a ball as he whirled around to look to see if he could spot anyone. He was ready to spit venom in someone's face too. Then he realized he must have scared her because his gaze and face softened. He laid next to her and let her cry in his shoulder.

When she got home she explained everything except for Swift and SnowWolf. And her and Cloud. She told her parents that Cloud needed ideas for a project and that he trusted her. Then she told them what happened about the "fall". They immediately sent letters to the queen saying they must investigate. About a week later the queen sent a letter saying she would. So the queen started the investigation.

They later found out that it was a GrassWing who had pushed her. "Okay we are gonna hold an emergency meeting with the tribes tonight. Send out letters" ordered Queen NightSky her guards.

Later that evening she had her voice back finally. Her father told her to talk to her friends to see if they saw anything that happened. "Okay Father'' she said. She walked up to her friends and said " Did any of you see what happened after..." she trailed off trying not to remember what had happened that night. "I saw a shape fly away after you began to fall. But I couldn't catch up. said SnowWolf. "I'm sorry" she said to Stargazer. "It's okay. At least you tried." she said to SnowWolf. "Okay" she said "if you say so.". "Anyone else see anything?" she asked them. They all shook their heads. 'Oh no' she thought 'they're gonna get away with it and they might try again' And this might have been better if Cloud wasn't being so vicious he had asked her father if he could be with her at all time and that he would use his venom on anyone who tried to hurt her. And her father said yes so Cloud was with her 24/7. Everyday of the week and month. She was honestly getting tired of it although she liked that she didn't mind when they slept side by side. So she made the most of her time and dealt with it. She snuck out to see the stars. This time she went to the river and sat beside one talon in the water as she looked up at the stars. All of a sudden something shoved her head down below the water. She tried to get out of the grasp but couldn't. She couldn't breath. When she stopped moving the dragon lifted her head out of the water and the last thing she saw was the dragon flying away and her father and Cloud's faces soaked with tears. Cloud leaned down and whispered "Don't leave me Star, I need you." and that was the last thing she heard as she faded into unconsciousness.
