My Secret Love

Chapter 2

PROV KORRA

It was the next morning and I had to get up early, fixing my room to make space for Asami, since she's not 18 yet the state was going to take her away but my mom took her in instead. Asami is going to keep her dad's company but can't be CEO till her 18th birthday which is in July so about 9 months. She's also going to keep her mansion. She just can't be living in there,  Her dad had paid it off so all she had to do is wait. I know she's hurting and I wish I could make her feel better but Ik I can't, it must be hard not having both parents.

( downstairs there was a knock on the door )

Korra: " Dad, can you get it I think it's Asami ! "

My dad opens the door and lets Asami in as she greets him dad and heads to my room.

Asami: " Hey Korra thanks  for letting stay here it means a lot "

Korra: " yeah it's no problem I actually made space for you, so you can half of the closets and half of the dresser."

Asami: " thanks " she said as she puts her clothes away.

I wanted to help her get her mind off  what had happened so I told her if she wanted to go out and get some ice cream and some snacks so we could stay home all day she nodded. So we went downstairs when she was done and took her car to the store but we had to go 3 towns away to find her favorite ice cream witch was Cotton candy flavor when we went to the store it was mostly quite we got off and also got some chips and candy and I got some movies so we won't be bored at home, when we got in the car we started talking in the parking lot.

Asami: "I can't believe we had to go so far just to find the ice cream"

Korra: " I have no regrets, so guess what me and mako decided to try applying at this store and we both got the job "

Asami: " oh it must be nice getting to spend time with your bf "

Korra: " bf ??? What no eww I could never"

Asami: " well I thought since you've been with him lately "

Korra: " No I don't like him in that way at all I'd rather be alone, but it's just sometimes this thing feels so right... you know? "

We stayed quiet for a minute as we slowly started to hold each other's hands and it was like that for a good time. Then my mom called and  I took my hand away and answered. She asked  If we're going to come back home because she didn't know we went out so far. So we went back home and went back into my room we sat down puting the movie while having all the snacks on my bed.

Asami:" Thank you for doing all this for me, buying the snacks and getting the movies it just means a lot I hope we can stay like this for a while"

Korra: " well yeah we can stay in here if you want, we can go to the bathroom n a bucket,finish school online and get lots of cats and dogs and live the life " I said as I giggled

Asami: " Yeah that sounds nice, just spending time with my bestfriend I couldn't ask for anything more" she said with a smile

We Continued watching the movies but I wasn't paying attention to them. I kept having that word stuck in my head " bestfriend " there's no way we could ever be anything more then just that. I then feel my phone vibrate with message from Bolin,Opal, and Wu.

Bo: " hey Korra hows Asami she hasn't been answering none of us since last night do you know what's going on ? "

Wu: " All we know is that her dad passed away "

Opal: " we're just worried for her "

Korra: " yeah she's okay,  she's actually with me now.  My mom took her in since the state can't let her live by herself until she's 18 so we went out to the store to get some snacks and now we're just watching movies."
