Black birds black birds, why do you circle the school?

Black birds black birds, do you eat the dead kids, too?

Are we tender? Or Tough?

Do you peck out our soulless eyes?

Or peel back the skulls to reveal our bruised and exhausted brains?

Black birds black birds, are you gunna eat me, too?

Or let my body rot in the sun as you stare at the slowly dying children, with an empty stomach and drooling mouth.

Are we bitter? Are we sweet? Do you nibble at our weary hearts? Or skip those parts?

Is it our color? Is it our size? Do you care to recognize the screams of tired children begging to be freed from the horrors inside their minds?

Black birds black birds, you'll be set for life, too.

For the bodies keep falling

As you circle the school.

You've reached the end of published parts.
