Glitch

First Encounters

After the events of being in Breaker the four slept a bit troubled, one of which woke up after seeing the Virus from before in his nightmare. When they finally woke up for the day the four went and got ready at their own paces, one would get breakfast, another a shower, the third did both and the fourth just stayed in bed. Eventually they found themselves back in the monitor room where they met with Hanji, she was delighted to see them and told them about things that happened during the night, "Guys one of them went up to the camera and dropped off another letter, and this time waved! I think it was Sasha but can you believe it?!" She asked giddily, "I can't wait to meet them in person!" Jean chuckled, "I'm sure they'll be happy to get out of that world they're stuck in." He said, "Now then, are any of you willing to go back today? I'm sure the four are probably curious at their new guests!" She said, Eren raised his hand, "I don't know if this is the shock of yesterday talking but I'm ready, I'm really curious about what's in there and about Glitch as well!" He said, Hanji clapped her hands in delight, "Ah! A curious mind like myself! How delightful!" She said and turned to the others, "One more brave adventurer?" She asked with a grin, Jean sighed and reluctantly raised his hand, "I guess I'll go..." He said, "Besides, despite the rage monster that appeared it was kind of cool to just roam around, and I can't let Jäger have all the fun." He said, "Wonderful! We'll suit you two up and you guys can go in for as long as you want!" She said and walked the two over to the same station as before, a few minutes later they walked out with the same gear from before with the exception of a lightweight back pack. Once they were ready they were given some more food for any Glitch members they might encounter and were put into the pods and jerked back into Breaker. Once they were in they looked around but no one seemed to be around.

"Hello?" Eren called, "Anyone here today or can we just walk around ourselves?" No response gave them the go ahead to just roam, Hanji came on their communicators soon after, "Hey stay put for now two Glitchies are wandering around, I want to see if they'll stop by the camera." She said a few moments later she came back on, looks like they weren't interested in the camera, just keep wandering until you find each other or want to come home. Also your cameras came on so look at as many things as possible!" She said, the two started off and looked around town and eventually found the letter the Glitch group left for them, as they walked they picked up old newspapers and things they thought would be interesting. The two chatted idly and would occasionally bicker but turned a corner and stopped abruptly when Jean almost ran into a Glitch member. "Woah! Uh... Hey there." He said, the Glitch took a few steps back in surprise them self, "If you don't mind me asking, are you (y/n)?" He asked, you nodded but kept your mouth closed, "Well it's nice to meet you. I'm Jean, that's Eren. Would you like some food? We heard you guys are pretty hungry." He said, you looked at him curiously and he pulled out a small bag of mixed nuts and offered them to you. Hanji came onto the communicator, "Hey put the headphones on (y/n) for a second but take the camera off." She said, he did as he was told and handed you his microphone set, meanwhile Eren took the discarded bag from you. Jean pointed the camera at you and on a monitor that watched it's feed, it played as you curiously poked at the headset before putting it on under your hood without having to move it, "Hello there!" A voice chimed, you jumped in bewilderment having never experienced technology like this before, the two males chuckled, "That would be Hanji, she's the one who's been sending us here!" Jean said, you nodded and poked the microphone, "That's what they use to talk to me!" Hanji said, "Do you talk as well?" she asked, you nodded yes but didn't make any vocalizations back, "I'm going to guess you're not one for talking, if you'd like you can give the headset back to Jean." She said and you did so with a soft grin, Hanji was about to explode, "OH MY GOD THAT WAS THE FIRST INTERACTION I'VE HAD WITH ANY GLITCH MEMBER! WHERE'S ERWIN I NEED TO RUB IT IN HIS EYEBROWS?!" She yelled, Jean chuckled and Eren looked over at you, "So, are any of your friends around? We'd like to meet them too." He said, you nodded and motioned for them to follow you, eventually the three of you came across a small park in the middle of town in one of the trees there was the raven haired girl from before, you waved at her and she hopped down from her perch and walked over, "I'm guessing this is Mikasa?" Eren asked, you nodded and Mikasa looked at the two suspiciously but never acted upon anything, "Hey you guys, I hate cutting the friendship time short but it appears you may want to come home, there's some announcements we need you to hear and we don't know the effects of how long being in Breaker when you're new at it will have on your bodies." She said, "Alright, we'll head back soon!" Jean said, "It looks like we have to go you two, we'll come back some other time though and we'll be sure to bring plenty of food with us!" He said and Eren nodded, "We will need a bit of help getting back though." The brunette said, you and Mikasa nodded and led them back to the portals where they safely returned home. When they got out of the pods they felt a bit groggy and told Hanji, "It's the effect of not being used to it, give it a few more trips and you should be fine." She said, "Anyways, I'll need that new letter, also something exciting! We'll be giving you guys some recorders and cameras to give to the Glitch members for them to use as they walk around town, since (y/n) seemed so fascinated with it we'll give her one first then give the others their own. And also... THAT WAS AN INCREDIBLE DATA FEED WE GOT I MEAN I GOT TO COMMUNICATE WITH ONE I FEEL SO EXCITED!" She yelled and bounced up and down, "This is incredible! Not only can they understand us but they can communicate as well and they're even willing to! I might have to join an expedition one time and try it out!" She said and helped the two out of the pods and opened the letter carefully and read it, "Where's Erwin when you need him... Anyways, you two go do what you'd like! I'm going to go hunt down Eyebrows!" She said and ran off, the two teens went to give back the protective suits and went happily to bed while Hanji explained what was in the newest letter.
