Jimin was perched up on the branch of a dense tree. He was ready with his arrow strung up on his bow, waiting for his target. From the list, Jimin remembered, his target included mainly prey animals like deers, boars, warthogs and wild hares.
His eyes widen a little as he spotted a young fawn coming out of the bushes. He held in his breath and waited. He waited till the fawn was exactly where he needed it to be. And as soon as it was, Jimin let the arrow slip past his finger.
In a fraction of a second, Jimin was climbing down the tree while the injured fawn tried to run away. But the arrow was impaled deep in between its thighs. With its limping condition, it was able to get far away.
Jimin pressed his lips together, reminding that this animal wasn't real - Something that Aviyanna had created - as he pushed the fawn down to the ground. He pressed his knees down on the fawns body so that it didn't move too much. Jimin wanted to complete this as quick as possible. He got his dagger, something, Yoongi came back to give right before the match started. Then, he quickly pierced it through the fawn's chest, cutting open its heart and killing it in an instant.
"I'm sorry." Jimin murmured as the fawn disintegrated in his hand leaving behind a orange stone.
Jimin's head snapped up as when he heard the sounds of footsteps, rustling through the bushes. He quickly rolled over, falling down in a small ditch. The footsteps grew in volume until Jimin guessed whosoever the person was passed right past the ditch he was in.
Jimin cautiously raised his head to see who it was and saw a blob of mint green hair passing through and disappearing in between the trees. Jimin frowned seeing that. He was pretty sure that he hadn't seen anyone in this place who had mint green hair. It was a conspicuous color. There was no way, he could have failed to spot someone like him.
Nevertheless, he shrugged it off and got out of the ditch. He knew there was no point in climbing back up on the tree becuase it was unlikely he would get another target here. So, dusting off the hoodie he was wearing, Jimin picked up his bow and quiver and jogged in another direction.
He stoped after a while, spotting a boar drinking water. Jimin quickly crouched down before the animal could spot him. Then, he readed his bow, pulling the string back and placing the arrow. He took in a deep breath, trying to lower his heartbeat as he aimed.
While Jimin was aiming, he wondered if it was the best idea to hunt down a boar. Since the animals were known for being intelligent and aggressive. There were chances that the arrow won't be enought to kill the boar.
In that moment, Jimin spotted a brightly colored frog jumping up on a leaf of a plant. Jimin tiltled his head as an idea sparked in his mind. He removed the arrow from its position and held it near the tip.
"Hey there, froggy." Jimin mumbled, carefully reaching for the frog because the last thing he need to touch it, "Let me just use a little bit of your posion."
He slowly neared the tip of the arrow and quickly ran it up the frog's back. He saw a few droplets of the poison smeared on the blade. More than enough to kill the boar. Again, Jimin placed the bow in position, and let it go this time.
The arrow hit the boar, right in its chest. Then, Jimin quickly left his position, hiding behind the trunk of a tree. Now, all he had to do was wait for a few minutes. But he also had to make sure boar didn't run away out of his sight, otherwise when it dies, someone else might take credit.
He heard the boar whine as it ran and quickly followed after it. Jimin knew that running will only kill the boar faster as the blood circulates the toxin to its heart. And just as he had predicted, the boar fell down on the ground, writhing in pain He quickly appoarched the boar, thankfull that it was in no condition to fight back, and stab through its heart.
