Garmadon was walking the streets of ninjago city, running a few errands. Nya had asked him to retrieve a few things, and willingly he obliged. The streets however, were rather empty. The sensei's expression fell as he took a good look around, wondering where everyone had gone. Oh brother, what could this possibly mean? Garmadons mind wondered back to the time when his brother had claimed there was "evil in the air" but he didnt think much more on the topic.

Garm continued his tasks and walked back to the bounty where the others were waiting. "Heres the things you asked for, nya." garmadon said as he entered the control room. "And heres a flower for you, my love." he handed a rose to his wife, who paid him back with a kiss on the cheek.

"Thanks sensei, this is exactly what i needed!" nya smiled wide at the bag of computer parts needed to fix the control unit, and the separate bag of food and candy.

"OOH OOH IS THAT FOR ME!!" jay yelped, entering the room. He took the bag of candy from his girlfriends grasp, and began ripping it open.

"jayyy..."

Everyone in the room laughed at jays enthusiasm. Oh how they wished they could act the same. "Im probably going to go for a walk around town." garm told the group.

wu nodded in understanding. "Be safe, brother."

"Of course. You know i will." and with that, he left.

The sky began to set and garmadon was still out and about. The hustle and bustle of the city finally began again, yet there was an odd feeling about it. Maybe he was just imagining it. Eventually the feeling could no longer be ignored. Rushing now, he began speeding down the full streets, bumping into citizens, letting out small "sorry"s along the way. But suddenly, everyone disappeared. "W-whats going on..." the spinjitzu master muttered under his breath. silence, darkness, and an eerie feeling. A feeling of discontent, of malice. Maybe wu was right.. Something wasnt right here. He began circling around, looking for anyone, anything in sight. But alas he could find nothing.

A voice chimed in the elderly mans ear "you know you want it again.."

What??

Want what??

A shadowy figure appeared in front of him

WHO ARE YOU?!

No response.

WHO. ARE. YOU?!

Finally, the figure began to speak again.

"I am the evil that lies dormant deep within you. The evil you still hold, the evil that possesses you. I am a part of you, you can never get rid of, something you cannot see, or feel. I am the very thing that will end this world, and you are merely my pawn."

A cold shiver was sent down garmadons spine. His eyes began to well up, and he began to think back on all the people he had hurt as "lord garmadon". He refused to believe there was still evil inside of him. No way! There just couldnt be! Falling to his knees, a single tear dropped onto the ground. It left an echoing sound in its fall.

Garmadon woke up with a scream. Wait.. it was all just a dream? When did he get in his bed? Wheres misako? how much of what just happened was real? the man rubbed his temples. god he had an excruciatingly painful headache after such an awful nightmare. "i should go check on the others.." he got up from bed and went to look for the group. they were nowhere to be found "am i still dreaming?" garm whispered to himself sarcastically. it wasnt like them to just go missing like that.

he took this to his advantage and went back to his room to relax. finally, some peace and quiet. he could finally start reading that book he had his eyes on!

an hour or so went by before he heard from one of his team mates. he was starting to get rather lonely, and he already finished the book he started reading. luckily for him, the one who returned first was his wife. when he saw her  in the doorway, his face lit up.

"hello darli-" misako cut him off "youre sick! you shouldnt be awake!"

"wait, i am?"

the woman grabbed a thermometer from the side table and checked garms temperature. since when was he sick? was he going senile?

"w-wait, misako.." garmadon lowered her arms from his forehead "whats going on? one minute i was walking in the city and the next i wake up here and apparently im sick?"

misako gave him a sigh. "youre sick, your memory isnt the best, dear." well, no duh, that doesnt help any though

"okay but can you tell me how long ive been sick for?"

misako faltered. she let out a grumble and then cleared her throat. "a few days now.. you said you remmeber going fro a walk correct?" the sensei nodded. "that all happened, but we recieved a call telling us you were found out cold in teh middle of the street. we had to go find and pick you up. now get some more rest, sweeheart. i dont want you to hurt yourself." but how could i be sick... he thought to himself. "wait-"

"yes?"

garmadon hesitated. he wasnt sure why, he had said this to her many times before.

"i love you."

misakos smile widened as she heard those words. "i love you too, my little garmy bear."
