Part Five .

Today was the day . The day everyone's been waiting for . The day where the pros got to show off their talent . Three weeks . Twenty-one days . Five hundred and four hours . Thirty thousand , two-hundred and forty minutes . All for this day .

Today was show day .

Last night was the first time Witney opened up to Mark . They talked about everything , from dancing to their daily lives . Mark felt like he could finally be himself . And it was the first time he truly saw Witney be herself .

As the day went on , Mark got more and more nervous . Dress rehearsal did not go as plan . Witney was back to her old self . She didn't show any emotion . Mark wanted to make sure the audience liked the performance , but he really wanted to reconnect with Witney again .

Mark paced anxiously as he was about to go on . He hasn't seen Witney yet , and she wasn't backstage . Where is she?

Sasha and Emma finished their jive and the crowd went wild . The stage went black and Mark had butterflies in his stomach . How was he supposed to dance without Witney ? She made the dance . It was complete without her .

Just as he positioned himself , he heard footsteps run on stage . It was Witney . Just on time .

" Sorry Mark ," Witney said as she got in her position .

The music turned on and the world stopped . All Mark could focus on was Witney . Her beautiful extensions . Her elegant poise . She was amazing , perfect .

The dance was so whimsical . Everything flowed together . The costume , the dynamics , the prop . Everything .

But the best was the connection . Mark and Witney truly connected . Not like anytime before , though . Mark felt different . He felt empowering . He felt loved .

Mark didn't want the dance to end . He wanted it to keep lasting , forever . He wanted to stay in that moment for a lifetime .

When Mark and Witney hit their final position , the crowd went crazy . Insanely applauding . They both heard shouts and screams for them . The stage went dark as they ran off stage .

When they stepped off , they were showered in components from the other pros . After they finished , Mark pulled Witney aside .

" Witney ," Mark sighed in awe ," thank you . Thank you for that . That's all I wanted . That's all I ever wanted . For us to finally connect . For us to finally have that moment . You are incredible .
I ... I love you ."

" I love you too ..."
