Sha Madoromi was a timid, gentle boy. In his childhood years, that was the only thing to describe him.
When he was 4, he was one of the first people in his daycare to get his quirk. His feet suddenly cracked and collapsed into sand, pooling from his ankles. Surprisingly he didn't fall, and was just floating around, supported by the small sand pillars that had formed where his feet used to be.
When he approached the sandbox, all the sand suddenly went to him, surrounding his feet again. All the children who were playing went to him, and told him to give them back the sand, but he didn't know how.
"I didn't mean to! I'm sorry..." He said, in distress since all the other kids were either angry at him for taking away the sand, or crying because they couldn't play with the sand anymore. He tried to put to sand back into the pit, but that unintentionally made several kids drop to sleep, and Sha, not knowing how and why this happened, broke down into tears until the caretakers of the daycare came out and found him.
After that incident, his parents decided to homeschool, and kept Sha in the house. His parents were quite rich, since his mother was a doctor and his father a pro hero going by the name Merlin, as his quirk was one that could summon anything by just a word from his mouth.
Sha, at the age of 6 was quite intelligent and had more control over his quirk than before, and his mother, after feeling she had no need to teach Sha any more of the basic stuff, she went back to continuing her doctor work, taking Share with her for the majority of the time. She had been having more and more patients with insomnia coming to her clinic, and decided to use her child's quirk for her own use.
Sha's father always came home late because of patrolling, and to help him fall asleep faster, Sha used his sand on his father.
It was always like this, they were really happy.
Until one day, his father came home even later than usual. And Sha, being the small child he is and wanting to help, gave his father more sand than usual, thinking of how happy his mother would be with him.
"You killed him! You... Monster!" Was what his mother yelled at him after his father didn't wake up in the morning, not breathing nor having a pulse. His mother hated him, yet she still kept him around for one reason. Her insomniac patients. Sha was thankful towards his mother, and while he didn't go to school, he could go do part time jobs, his quirk letting him have very short naps and waking up refreshed.
He had always wanted to be a hero, no matter what his mother said or did to him. He wanted to repent for what he did to his father. And so he applied for U.A. and aced the written test. However, with his quirk, he couldn't get into the hero course through the entrance exams.
There was a boy with black hair who's quirk also wasn't physical, but with his skill and tactics, the boy had entered the hero course - Class 1A, no less. He had never met that boy in his life before, but he had always admired him, and in his second year of U.A., finally transferred to 2-A with his talents and work.
The blond haired boy made friends with a boy named Hizashi Yamada, who turned out to be close to that boy Sha met during the entrance exams who was called Shota Aizawa. He used this chance to get to know Shota, and another classmate named Oboro Shirakumo. The three of them surrounded Shota at all times, declaring themselves as Shota's friends.
Sha always knew he had a massive crush on Shota, but he pushed the feeling down to when they finally graduated. He plucked up the courage to tell him, and-
Sha: "Well, needless to say we got our happy ending."
Hey! I wasn't done yet! What about all that drama? The tea?!
Sha: "You don't have to tell the readers about that. This whole story is about the new generation's story at U.A., not mine."
Fair point you got there. Oh well. Thus ends the backstory of Sha Madoromi.
