(Next day)
Shinso POV
It's really cold and windy today, and the dress-code-approved jacket provided no warmth. "Hey Midoriya! Why are you wearing a hat?" "I... I don't really want to talk about it..." "Did you mess up your hair?" "No, it wasn't my fault." The wind kept blowing as we all talked. 3 minutes later, Midoriya's hat blew away. Uraraka gasped, "YOU BLEACHED YOUR HAIR?!?!" There he stood, frozen, with short blonde hair. "...My brother bleached it as a prank last night...He also dyed Mirio's hair blue." "One heck of a prank." Iida said. "Yeah. He's dead when we get home." "Hey, I caught your ha- WHAT DID YOU DO?!" "My brother bleached my hair as a prank." Kirishima handed him his hat, and said, "He's as good as dead. But, he did make it look pretty natural...And if I hadn't seen it before now, I would've believed it."
(In class)
"Everybody, hats and jackets off, and in your seats." A minute or two of shuffling and bags rustling and everyone was in their seats. "Midoriya, hat off." "No." "What?" "No." "Take it off, or go to the office." He stood up, picked up his bag, and said, "Looks like I'm headed to the office then."
Midoriya POV
I can't believe I just said that. I can't go to the office though. They're painting, and it's closed for the week. I sighed. "I think I'm just going to skip. Not like I can take off my hat in there anyways..." I muttered to no one. I pulled my skateboard out of my backpack, and threw it in front of me, and stepped on. I rode down the hall, and picked it up at the stairs. I'm not the type to try to skateboard down stairs. Mirio stepped out of his classroom, and saw me riding past. He walked with me, saying, "Can't go to the office because I refused to take off my hat. Just gonna skip today. Nothing I can do." "Same. Just follow me. I know a way around the fence. Jumped it like, 3 times." He nodded, and followed me to the spot. We jumped the fence together, and then high-fived. He walked to his car, but I rode my skateboard over to mine. Yes, I'm fifteen and own a car. I made it myself. Mainly out of old car parts people were selling off of amazon and ebay. It was cool though. I put away my board, pulling out my helmet and keys. I got onto my car, turning it on.
I drove down the highway, and sang along to my favorite song.
Day to night to morning, keep me with the moment
I'd let you had I known it,
Why don't you say so?I loved the feeling of riding down the highway, wind against me, listening to my playlist. I loved the rush. I may seem like the type to like the simple things, but I love the rush. My phone started ringing, so I answered. "Hello?" Where are you? "Who is this?" Uraraka! "I'm skipping." WHY?! "THE OFFICE IS CLOSED! They're painting and Aizawa sent me to the office! WHERE AM I SUPPOSED TO GO?!" Okay, makes sense. Wait, are you on the highway? "...Yeah...Again..." I've told you to stop it! One of these times you aren't going to make it off that highway! It's dangerous! Especially this time of year. "I know, I just can't seem to stay away. I'm an adrenaline addict, and you know that." Well at least stay off the highway the news actually calls Murder Lanes!! "That's why I'm here...I like the rush of knowing this place is dangerous..." You're insane Midoriya. "I know."
And then I hung up.I sped up, letting the wind just flow around me. I was in what I considered Heaven on Earth. It wasn't the weirdest thing I liked to do. Or the weirdest person I liked. I had only seen him at the sports festival, and now here he is, in my class. And I'm in love. But he's my TEACHER'S kid.
I pulled off the highway, and into the parking lot of a Dog Cafe. I walked inside and Puddle ran up to me. He was a gray and white dog, with blue eyes. I couldn't keep him at my house, so I brought him here when it was first opening 3 years ago. I came everyday after class, whether it was to study or just hang out with the dogs. Soon I was on the floor with all the dogs on top of me or just surrounding me. I laughed as employees chuckled trying to get them off me. I manged to sit up, and they were still surrounding me. I looked over the wave of canines, and asked, "Where's Mountain?" "Oh! He got adopted earlier! By the pro hero Fat Gum! We always thought he was more of a cat person, but you never know." I stood up and walked over to one of the tables, and most of the dogs hopped into the seats around me, causing me to laugh.(5 hours later, 4 pm. Class is over)
Shinso POV
"Shinso, come on. We're headed to the nearby animal cafe with your dad. They just got some cats to join the dogs there." "Oh, cool." I said flatly, while I was wondering where Midoriya had gone after skipping class.
We arrived at the cafe, and walked inside to see someone on the floor being swarmed by both cats and dogs. They were laughing and some employees called the dogs back while others tried to move the cats, but they had all lied down on them. "I don't think I'm going to be moving any time soon, Kai." We sat down and order some tea and sushi. Dad came in and laughed at the sight of the person on the floor with the cats. He sat down with us and said, "I never thought I'd see someone being swarmed by cats!" "Hmm... They're asleep." I said. Aizawa laughed, and Mic did the same, but louder. They all woke up, so twenty cats freaked out. "Oww... Hah, those cat's are easily scared I guess..." They stood up brushing the fur off their pants and shirt... That outfit... It can't be... IT'S MIDORIYA! AGHH!! I'LL JUST EMBARRASS MYSELF IN FRONT OF HIM! "Well hello Midoriya." He jumped, "Jeez, hi Aizawa. Wait, shoot it's Aizawa," and he bolted.
