Wave's (p.ov)
"Wave you can't go there" my best friend Real scolded me I couldn't stop myself even if I tried  the closer I went to the boarders the more I wanted to cross over it  but before I could do anything risky my best friend grabbed me by the hand stopping me on my tracks she turned me around to face her.I could see the shock expression on her face which meant something was wrong"what wrong" I asked her "it's happening again" she replied putting my hoodie over my head I knew exactly what she was talking about so I immediately leaned in closer to her using her body as a shield "let's go home" she said to me pulling me closer.

"How is it" I asked her checking the mirror on the wall I could see that my hair was back to it's original black colour and my eyes were also in it original blue colour " it's normal here drink this" real said handing me a cup of water. We been best friend ever since we were kids, our parents died in the war it was a war to remember all our best warriors died fighting for their lives against the dahimar creatures. The dahimar  were like us wolf's but they were creatures of the dark, with red eyes like the blood moon and there taste for blood was like no other creature,no one knew if the pack could ever survived it but we did, it was a great lost for everyone that day ever since then my pack the grahimar pack have been protected by the protectors. The protectors were a group of Four with abilities like no other, you could say they were the high council for wolves, they set up magical barriers around our pack to protect it from invaders. The protectors haven't set foot inside our pack ever since then.

"They were different this time" real said pulling me out of my thought "what" I asked her unsure of what she was talking about "they weren't the usual silver or gold they were red wave it was scary " she said looking at me with concern in her eyes " but I thought you said they haven't turned red ever since that  day"  " and I swear to you they haven't turned red ever since then only the usual gold and silver but today it was different you looked so different like you weren't even there, you were ready to rip anything or anyone that comes your way" " don't worry about it real I promise you nothing is wrong with me" I replied trying to convince her and myself, though I didn't think she was convinced " if you say so" she said rolling her eyes I laughed at her weak attempt at that "wave" real called out " yes " I answered looking up at her "the alpha is celebrating the end of his reign and giving his son the title alpha they are celebrating" she stopped deliberating if to tell me the rest "go on" I told her giving her a serious face "and.... He is having his first run with the pack .... "Nooooo"  I cut her short, " you don't have to run" she said giving me her puppy dog face " you know I stopped shifting because of the color of my fur it's to awkward" " I don't think it's awkward I think white suit you" she said trying to convince me.

I hated the color of my wolf 'white' it stands out alot especially during full moons because of how it glows. My mom will always tell  me a story about the moon goddess, she said that once upon a time the goddess was angry with the were-kind because of the way we killed our kind so she cried for her children and then a tear dropped down on earth and created a she-wolf like no other with special abilities but  up to now no one has found the werewolf. legends say that she is the drop of the moon or as they like to call it the cry of the moon goddess. My mom will always tell me the story whenever she sees me shift she said my wolf reminded her of the story. Ever since she died I have never had the courage to shift again because it reminded me of her and i just couldn't bring myself to do it although my wolf dahlia has been begging me to let her out.

" Please it will be my first time seeing the alpha's son and I heard his handsome " she said trying to wink at me "ok I will go if you stop trying to wink" I said laughing at her akwardness "thank you" she said jumping like a little girl. And that's when I knew that this was the calm before the storm.
