chapter 3 mate

Wave(p.o.v)

We were all still celebrating the coronation of our new alpha when we felt the presence we knew who were approaching us before they even came into view, the protectors were coming and they were close we could feel their presence, real immediately rushed to my side holding my hands, we all knelt down on one knee bowing our heads.

"What are they doing here" she asked giving me a confuse look  " I don't know " I replied clutching her tightly I have never really been a fan of the protectors, we could know see them clearly they were putting on their traditional robes which were royal blue in colour but that's not what caught my attention it was the man infront of them, he looked handsome like no kidding jaw dropping handsome.

"Alpha Ian" alpha jackson called out to the man infront of the protectors, wait the alpha Ian he was the alpha of the blue moon pack he was one of the most powerful alpha in the country, but his pack was not close by in any way so what was he doing here.

" Alpha Jackson it's been a while" he said trying his best to give alpha jackson  a warm smile, "same here" alpha jackson replied giving his hand to alpha Ian for a handshake, the rest of their conversation was lost in the air, when I began to scent something very nice and sweet.

I looked around trying to figure out what it was I then realized it my mate was close by, 'mate' my wolf kept on chanting I could feel my wolf howling with pleasure but who was it, the only people that arrived were the protectors and alpha.... Oh my Gosh alpha Ian is my mate I snapped my head back to his  direction

"We need to talk " one of the protectors spoke up "it's urgent" alpha Ian said, I could see him looking around his eyes were the brightest shade of brown it was beautiful, he looked at me with a sign of recognition and another emotion I couldn't quite grasp.

"Wave" real whispered to me hiding me behind her she turned around to look at me blocking me me from anyone's view "this is new" she said giving me a shock and amused look "what" I asked her "your hair and eyes they are purple" I was confused they never turn purple only gold, and silver and also today morning when it was red but now purple.

" I don't understand " I said looking at her "what don't you understand your hair and eyes are purple" she said looking around trying to make sure no one was looking at our direction "we need to go home" she said grabbing my hand.

"I can't " I replied, I tried Looking at my mate but he wasn't at his previous  position he was heading towards the pack house "wave we have to go" real whispered to me before dragging me away

Real(p.o.v)

"Wave you have to be careful" I said handing her a cup of water  "I know" she replied not looking at my direction, and that's when I knew  they was something wrong with her "what's wrong" I asked taking a seat beside her "nothing" she said turning her face around, and that's when I knew something was really wrong with her.

"Aren't you supposed to be on a hot date with the alpha or something" she said trying to change the topic, " yes I am but not a date we are going for a walk later but don't try to change the topic" I said taking a sip out of her water "still the same thing" she said referring to me and my mate.

"Wave talk to me what wrong" I said giving her a stern look she sighed slouching her body on the couch and that's when I knew she gave in. She began rubbing her left wrist with her right arm a habit she picked up anytime she got nervous.

"Okay I saw my mate" ok that wasn't what I was expecting atall "he is alpha Ian" she continued, I was so sure my mouth was wide opened "wait what" I asked trying to hold off the huge grin that was already pulling up my face "I know right" she said trying back a smile.

"Wait! So that's why you didn't want us to go" I said hitting her shoulder, " stop that" she replied trying so hard to hide her red stained cheeks, and that's when I noticed how her eyes turned purple first then followed by her hair, and that's when I realized what the purple meant she liked him every time her hair or eyes change color it's her emotion being seen outside so it was basically easy to read her if you know what each color signifies. I laughed inwardly at my new found realization she was a goner, I couldn't blame her though even though I acted like a dumbass I was already head over heels for jackson.

" You like him" I said hitting her hand, " no I don't even though he is drop dead gorgeous and has the best shade of brown eyes " she replied trying to give me a stern look "hmmm ok then but I think your body disagree with you" I said pointing at the mirror on the wall she stood up looking at the mirror, I could see how shock she was.

"Oh my gosh" she said looking at herself at the mirror "purple is definitely your colour" I said trying to get on her nerves "this isn't funny how can I hide  my emotions when my hair and eyes give it all away"

" Why would you even want to hide your emotion from your mate" I said taking a bite of the apple I grabbed " first of all I don't want him to think that am a lunatic that is crazy over him when we just met" she said putting her hands on her waist, " and second who are you to judge me when you ran out on your mate the first time you saw him"

"Ouch" my wolf Eve replied "you know how shy I can get infront of people" I said trying to defend myself " but that wasn't just anyone it was your mate" she said trying to make me feel guilty. "Exactly the reason why I was so shy" I said raising my hands in the air, she laughed at my stupid gesture, she was about to say something when we heard a knock on the door

"I will get it" i said standing up "ok" she replied, i adjusted my dress and opened the door, I think I stood there for about a full minute looking at the figure infront of me wave was right he is drop dead gorgeous

" Wave I think this is for you " I said blinking rapidly.
