I walked into 2nd period, Spanish.
To be honest I was an A student in every subject , except for one, Spanish . But it wasn't the fact that I couldn't do it I just couldn't be bothered. I know,I know, I sound like a slacker, but I don't need to learn it if I'll never use it, right?
Well mrs Hamilton my strict and Spanish teacher thinks I'm wrong.

I took a seat down at the back of class, alone.
I hate to face it but I really have no friends, well except for my own brother Michael who defiantly isn't a loner. He is in the popular group in grade 9, he is supposed to be in my grade but he was kept down. I don't know exactly know why someone like him would be in the cool group, I mean what is saw this morning was pretty scary. So I basically am the only person in my family who isn't queen bee or leader of the popular pack.
I'm just invisible , yay me.

It was 20 minutes into the lesson and I already felt myself falling asleep.
That was until there was a knock at the door.
My eyes were shut but I could still tell the door was being opened.
"Uh is this year 10 Spanish?" A voice I had never heard before asked, but I could this voice belonged to a guy.
"Ah Yes , you must be Kane Holden, uh attention class we have new student arrive today please make him feel welcome,"

I opened my eyes.
He was tall, not super tall, but tall. He had a tan and a brown quiff, and from what I could see his eyes were dark brown.
All the girls including the most popular girl in the grade Holly Stevens, all began fixing there hair and batting their eyes at Kane.
He was kinda cute.

"Go and take a seat next to, hhm, let's see..." Mrs Hamilton began looking around the room, as all the girls say up straight eagerly.

" raindrop, she's at the back,"

I widened my eyes in shock, great a boy was exactly what I needed to cause me embarrassment.
I could here whispering from all the girls now, some giving me dirty looks,
"Who is that? What's her name?"

" her names raindrop, stupid right!"

"Kane should be next to us not the nerd"

"Wait isn't she Tiaras little sister?"

"Yep, but you can't tell, I mean they're the total opposite"

"What a freak!"

"And a loser!"

I sunk into my seat even though half of what they were saying was out of jealousy , I didn't want any of the attention.
Kane walked over to the seat next to me, with a grin on his face.
"Hey, cute name,"

I looked at him with a scowl, " thanks for rubbing it in,"

He frowned sitting down and facing me," I actually mean it, it's cute, your cute,"

I felt a slight blush rise up my cheeks, but I shook it off.

"Stop crawling, why don't you go flirt with some other girl that would love to talk with you?" I looked down at my unopened text book.

"Cause,"

"Cause?"

"Just cause.

"That's not an answer."

He smirked, "I would be wasting my time,"

I rolled my eyes," no you wouldn't , they're all pretty and perky and interesting, perfect for you"

"No one could get more interesting than a girl named raindrop"

I raised my eyebrows,"apart from my weird name and my brothers weird name and my mums green hair, my life a boring story"

"Wait, your mum has green hair?!" He laughed.

"Okay buddy I'm not gonna tell you my whole life's story, I just met you."

The bell stated ringing.
We both stood up.
"Okay then raindrop, now you can, how bout you meet me 3:30 after school at the sushi place,"

",How do you know I don't hate sushi?" I raised my eyebrows smugly.

"Well, I'm gonna find, out aren't I."
