(We open on a dark brisk night in Fiction City as a woman with brown hair and a denim jacket exits her place of work, a hair salon called Jump Cuts. She looked tired, exhausted even. But she tried her best to hide this from her coworkers who exited after her)

Coworker: Sasha, are you sure you're going to be okay walking home? It's dark out.

Sasha: I'll be fine. I don't live too far from here anyway.

(Sasha was lying of course. She lived a considerable distance away but did not want to spend another second around people that reminded her of work.)

Coworker: Okay, just be careful. After a shift like that you have to at least be a little drowsy.

Sasha: Which is exactly why the could night air is the thing I need to wake me up. I'll see you tomorrow.

Coworker: See ya, c'mon ladies.

(Sasha watched as he coworkers piled into their cars and drove off, leaving her standing alone under a street lamp.)

Sasha: Sigh. Okay, time to go home.

(Sasha began to walk down the street. It was quiet. She found it strange since Fiction City was never quiet. Even when it was late at night like it was now.)

???: Sasha....

(The hair stylist turned around in suspicion. She saw no one and nothing but the other small businesses that made up that part of the city.)

Sasha: Girls? If this is your way to scare me into not walking home then-

(Suddenly, a trashcan at the edge of a nearby alleyway was knocked across the street. Something massive had just made its presence known)

Sasha: It's really working.

(Sasha turned around and picked up her pace, trying to keep a semblance of calm about her as she ran away)

Sasha: That was just a dog. A very large and very strong dog. Why am I saying this? This is a horrible way to calm yourself down!

(As she went the lights around her on the street began to dim and flicker)

Sasha: What the hell is going on?

(Her heart skipped several beats when she heard large rapid footsteps coming from behind her. And against all her better judgement, she turned around to see what was pursuing her.)

Sasha: *panicked gasp*

(She looked on in horror as a large humanoid entity made up entirely of oily, stringy, clumped up hair was gaining on her. And it's piercing yellow holes in it's face that served as its "eyes" struck fear in her unlike anything that had ever scared her before then)

Hairy: Cut me, Sasha. You must cut me!

Sasha: No. Nononononononono, stop! Please!

(Sasha tripped as she ran which allowed the creature to catch up with her. It towered over her menacingly before it's chest opened up revealing a strange yellow portal)

Sasha: What is that!?

Hairy: Cuuuut meeee.

(Tendril made of even more clumped up hair erupted from the creature's body and wrapped around Sasha's legs before dragging her into the portal. And in flash of yellow light, the creature disappeared. The lights in the area stopped flickering and the world went back to normal, with one less soul living in it. We cut to the apartment of Detective Chuck the next morning. It was a disheveled place. Ironic since the person who lived there was normally so organized. Scraps of paper and string were strewn across the floor as the detective, in his normal attire minus his brown trench coat and fedora, placed more pieces of evidence on his wall. Samuel Cladsteel was back, and he knew he was planning something big. But what? The detective pulled out his outdated and cracked phone as he began to record himself speaking)
