This is my first time writing FanFiction about a book series. Please go easy on me, I'm re-reading the books, and doing even more in-depth research at the moment to try and make sure I can be as accurate as possible, but it has been quite a few years since my intense Potterhead phase.

With that being said, this is an AU, and I cannot emphasize it enough when I say it is NOT canon! Meaning, the characters WILL be different from the books, as will the plot. Their personalities may not be exactly the same, the plot will be different, etc. If this will upset you, please just click off.

Also, this will differ from the Tik Tok series for ease of writing. Some things may change as I develop the plot because I think they work better, are more interesting, etc.

For copyright purposes, I do not own any of the original characters, world, or plot. That Is completely the creation of She-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named (J.K. Rowling) and all due credit goes to her. Any characters, world-building, or plot that differs from the original books, though, is alternatively mine and protected by copyright.

This story is also posted on AO3 under the same username 'lacedpink'. These are the only two accounts I have. If you want to publish this story on a different site, please just ask me!

I want you to get emotionally involved. I want you to form a relationship, a connection, with the characters just like I have. My goal as an amateur author is to not only inspire but to provide an escape for others. Somewhere you can go to get away from the world and smile, laugh, and cry along with the characters.

The only things I will not tolerate are bullying/harassment, self-advertisement, or plot change requests in my comments.

Bullying/harassment is non-negotiable. If you are purposefully berating, hating, or saying just straight up rude things in the comments about other users or about me/my books (that is not constructive, there is a way to write criticism without being rude) you will be blocked/reported immediately. I have zero tolerance for it.

I do go back and edit my books when they are done, and when I go back and edit them, is really the only time anything major will change. I try to do grammar checks every so often, but mostly save my deep dives for once the book is completed because it speeds up getting the chapters to you all (which is my priority!)
