Lauren

Hugging my baby one last time, I finally made my way outside Ms. Loretta's house. "Bye ya'll! I'll see ya'll tomorrow at the cafe!" I yelled as I made my way into Cassie's car.

"You ready for tonight?" Cassie asked as she checked herself out in the visor mirror, fixing her lipstick.

"I guess." I replied shaking my head. "I mean, if it were up to me I'd be at home laid up in my bed with my baby."

"I know girl, but hey at least we can hang out after our shift is over. Maybe we can stay and chill for a while. I heard that today we was supposed to have a good crowd cause of some promotion Mr. Davis has going on." Cassie said as she weaved through traffic.

I love my girl but one thing about her is that she drive crazy. And she know she drive crazy too! The only upside to her knowing she drive crazy is when we have Kam, cause then she know how to calm down and drive decent. But without him, she drive like a bat out of hell.

Within fifteen minutes we had made it to club Stallion, one of the hottest clubs in Los Angeles. I started working here about three years ago when Mr. Williams decided to go up on rent. My job at the cafe just wasn't cutting it so I had to get a weekend job. My first day here I met Cassie and we been thick as thieves ever since. You would think we'd known each other our whole lives with the way we acted.

Finally getting out the car I took a deep breath making my way to the front entrance. But before I could make it inside Cassie stopped me.

"How do I look?" She asked as she did a full turn.

"Girl you is fine as wine

"Girl you is fine as wine." I said as I laughed. Fluffing her hair out she nodded agreeing with me.

"Yeah, you right."

Shaking my head as we walked through the front door, we were met by our manager Mr.Davis. "Ladies, y'all just in time." He said as he ushered us to the bar. "Now, I need you Lauren to get your area straightened up and to get all the liquor and beer that your low on behind this bar. Okay?"
