Izuku's POV:
~In one of Kafka's most famous stories a young man turns into a giant insect. I read it when I was in fifth grade, at the time I imagined what it would be like if I turned into a giant insect.~

"Did the girl consent to donating her organs!? Was her family contacted?" Said the reviewer, I'm currently in the hospital watching the doctor who 'saved' getting interviewed through tv "was life saving treatment withheld from her did you do everything you could to save her?!" He asked "she was pronounced dead upon arrival we think she died instantly at the scene. I felt it was my duty as a doctor to save the life in front of me, that's why I made the decision I did." I turn of the tv after.

The time passes the more the incident that night seems unreal but, the scar I got on my stomach is real.

"How are you feeling Midoriya?" Dr. Kano asked "pretty good I guess." I respond "if you continue taking the immunosuppressant you should be back in school in no time." He says I nod my head "by the way the nurse me the hospital food isn't your liking?" He said in a questioning tone "um, n-no it's good." Obviously that was a lie of course I wasn't going admit it.

The nurse came in and gave me my food it was rice, miso soup, tofu, and some salmon I pick up my chopsticks and eat a piece of the salmon, once it touched my tongue I wanted to vomit I just swallow trying not to make it any worse than it already was 'it taste so fishy.' I thought "are you done already?" The nurse asked "yeah." "You need to eat more if you want to get better." She said "I'm sorry it tastes kinda -" I was cut of by her "what?may I?" With giving me a chance to respond she takes a bite "it tastes normal to me?" She said "what?" I respond confused "is it that you don't like fish? Don't be a picky eater." She says "okay." I said looking away 'it not just the fish, the miso soup tastes like machine oil, the texture of the tofu feels like glob of lord, and the rice feels like I'm kneading glue in my mouth. Basically everything tastes awful.' I thought.

(Time skip to night)

'I've barely been eating, but for reason I'm not hungry.' I thought "maybe I'm turning into an insect too ha ha." I sarcastically said outloud.

(Time skip after getting discharged from hospital.)

During the few weeks in the hospital I mostly got water, but my appetite keeps shrinking. I was laying on my bed thinking about the incident when I got a flashback from Rize telling me about her quirk.

[~Flash back~]

"But the down side of my quirk is I have to eat humans I can't eat anything else they all taste disgusting one human is enough for a month but I can't help myself."

[~end of flashback~]

'Is it possible that receiving her organs somehow changed my body?' I thought 'I'm overthinking things.' *grrl* my stomach growls '*sigh* I'm getting hungry.' I thought then my eye widen "hungry...?" I said sitting up on my bed ~in one of Kafka's most famous stories, a young man turns into a giant insect.~ I start running to my kitchen opening the fridge ~the young man who became an insect saw his taste in food change.~ I grab a burger and an apple ~he no longer eat fresh foods, he began preferring things like rotten cheese.~ I take a bite of the burger while thinking 'if may taste in food changed then what's cheese for me?' Right when I took a bite I run to the bathroom and throw up. I go outside to take a late night walk.

There was a lot of people where I was walking I suddenly stop 'man, woman, child, man, man, child, woman, woman, man, woman, girl, girl, meat, boy, meat, child, meat, meat, meat, meat, woman, meat meat meat meat MEAT!' Was all that I could think I start biting down on my fingers to resist the sudden urge to eat them "do you see that guy?" A girl ask friend "stop staring, head probably messed up in the head." He replied that's when I couldn't take it and take of running to my house. I run into the bathroom I look at myself in mirror "w-what is this?" I asked in a shaky voice looking at my left eye I looked exactly like Rize. Suddenly I see behind me in the mirror so I punch the mirror and to my kitchen and grab a knife, lift up my shirt and try key word try to kill myself but the knife ends up breaking once it hits my stomach. I fall to my knees and start to cry "I always wanted a quirk and God finally gave me one, but at a consequence... a painful one." I said while crying.
