Pokemon World War Rocket

Chapter 4

James and Meowth stayed outside the infirmary with Billy and their friend Mondo who had joined them and was worried about Jessie too having a bit of a crush on her but he knew she'd only ever think of him as like a little brother.

A little while later the doctor came out and said Jessie would be fine and just had a few cuts and bruises that would heal. She was so use to being blasted off that had been like nothing to her.

But she was sad to have heard about Sundance. James was the first one back to see her and found her looking at the wall sadly.

The she just broke down having just lost someone who was like family to her. James hugged her and let her cry on his shoulder understanding that she was hurting right now and he wanted to be there for his best friend to give her some comfort.

And Meowth joined them a few minutes later. And Billy saw them through the door he was glad Jessie had two friends who wanted to be there for her.

Then he went in with Mondo to be there for her too. He felt just as heartbroken as she did right now having just lost his brother.

Later that night Billy went to see Jessie. Who was doing better now but still sad about Sundance and blamed herself for not being able to save him.

"He wouldn't want you to blame yourself because it's not your fault." Billy told her.

"I know it's just it feels like I keep losing the people I care about." Jessie answered him sadly.

"Their still with you in your heart and always will be." He reassured her.

Just then Ninetails came in and set down next to Jessie laying it's head on her lap sad about losing her trainer. Then she set her pokeball on Jessie's lap.

"I think he'd want you to be her trainer." Billy told her.

"I'd be honored." Jessie told them as she accepted Ninetails's pokeball.

Then James and Meowth came in.

"We'll always be here for you too Jessie." James promised her.

"Meowth that's right." Meowth agreed.

Billy was glad Jessie had such loyal friends. She had been like a daughter to him. He has actually had feelings for her mother which was why her death had hit him so hard it had actually been Jessie that help him through it.

She and him had actually helped each other through it.

Then Stella came in.

"I heard Sundance didn't make it so I wanted to offer my condolences and help out anyway I can." She offered.

"Thank you." Billy told her. Jessie, James and Meowth thanked her too.

Even though she was secretly playing both sides Stella still felt bad and was genuine in wanting to help them. Having not wanted anyone to die.

The bombs had been a total surprise for her.

Meanwhile Butch and Cassidy were in the hallway when Viper came in the base with Prece who he had caught working with Neo Team Rocket.

They were both shocked that Prece was a trader. And watched Annie and Okly take him to the brig.

Then they went outside for a bit not being able to believe how much the team was falling apart.

Then they heard something going on and saw Hun and Attila who were chasing another spy.

Butch and Cassidy decided to intervene. And ran after the spy as well.

Cassidy caught up to him first and started to let out a pokemon but thought better of it afraid that in the time it would take her to pull out a pokeball he might get away.

So she just ran forward and jumped him. Butch was running to catch up when he heard his partner scream.

And let out his Rattacate and had it use hyper fang knocking the guy off Cassidy.

"Thanks partner." She said. But Butch noticed a look of pain on her face and when she moved her hand that she had on her side her white glove was stained with blood.

Then to his horror Butch saw the knife that had been used to stab Cassidy on the ground at her feet.

Then ran forward and caught her as she collapsed and saw just how bad it was. He was trying desperately to stop the bleeding.

When Hun and Attila got there and Attila took the prisoner to the brig.

"Get help she needs help!" Butch practically screamed. Knowing his partner and best friend needed medical attention right away.

Upon seeing what the situation was Hun ran to base to get paramedics. While Butch refused to leave Cassidy's side.

"Cassidy please hold on!" He pleaded with her.

He stayed with her hoping the paramedics would get there soon. And that Cassidy would make it.

Don't you just love cliffhangers?  Hope this chapter turned out OK and that it wasn't to summaryish it was a nightmare to came up with and dialog is what I have the most trouble with. I'll try to get the next chapter up soon. In the meantime feel free to send feedback.
