"Mei" u said making the pink hair girl look over to you in curiosity "she texted me good morning!!"
You said making mei sigh in disappointment at your words, she thought i would've been something more important
But instead it was her childhood friend getting his hormones kicked into second gear
"You guys have been talking ever since the entrance exam, it's not that surprising" She remarked as she stared at your face
You just snickered and looked at her "weren't you the one who was teasing me about this kind of stuff before?"
You remarked before responding, ever since the entrance exam at U.A you had exchanged numbers with the pink girl you met and helped, Mina Ashido
You two had been talking almost on stop, after you filled her in on the whole zero one driver matter she immediately showed some concern for you and your lack of a quirk
You could understand everyone's concern about someone like you going into the fray of battle, but you couldn't give up now
This was your dream, and you were gonna make sure it realized
"So when are you gonna ask her out?"
Those bold words from your childhood friend make you choke up a bit before becoming bright red
"W-what are you talking about, were just friends that's all"
"Aw please, I'm sure she wouldn't mind you showing her around the workshop"
She said in a teasing manner as you only looked away, it was true that you had gained an interest for the girl
But it was too early to pull any moves right?
How long till you two get to school? I want to meet up at the entrance
Your view was sent back to your phone screen the moment you saw that message smiling

As soon as you and mei arrived at the schools gate you took a deep breath looking at you backpack were you kept the driver
After taking a few steps forward as you talked with mei you felt your eyes get covered by a couple of hands
"Guess who~"
You chuckled as you heard mei's giggle before responding
"Ashido?"
"Spot on as always!"
You just laughed before turning around noticing someone behind Ashido
A guy around your height with spiky red hair smiling before walking up to you
"Hey there! I'm eijiro kirishima! You two first years aswell?"
You nodded along side mei smiling back
"L/N Y/N, and this cotton candy hair girl is Mei"
Mei gave a smile before looking at Ashido and kirishima
"So you two know eachother?"
"Oh yeah!! We went to the same school since we were kids! He used to have black hair back then tho"
She said tiling her head to look at the red head who just blushed and scoffed lightly
"It's whatever, this is a new me! And I'll be able to show how manly i am!!"
He shouted taking you back a bit before laughing
"Man you two are really something"
You remarked as you four walked together into U.A, this looked to be a great start to you journey to becoming a hero
