Narrator's POV

After Kim had told the receptionist about wanting to register for the money program. ...the receptionist led her to a lobby to wait for some time ....that her she would soon be called in .......after she had waited for 5 minutes ...another receptionist called her name and told her to enter the office. .......

After she had walked in .....a man wearing a flashy suit who was seating on a chair ...told her to have her seat .....after she had settled down. .....the man asked about her profession.....she replied by saying. ..."I'm an author for Spark publishing. ..." after she had explained ..the man asked "so what do need to double your money for since ...it's seems like you're quite rich already ?".....Kim was shocked by his question. ..but she replied calmly saying " I'm not that rich ...I'm just manageably okay .....that's it ...and I found out this is a very fast way to earn money ....so I came"....then man chuckled and said "alright then.....let's start".....then he gave her a form to fill. ..and after she had filled the form ....he asked her how much was she willing to invest .....and she said ..." i wanted to put in 5000 dollars but I borrowed 10000 dollars from the bank ....so I'm gonna invest 15000 dollars ....." the man smiled and said that's wonderful ..... after he had collected the money ....he told her to come back after a month for her doubled amount ....she smiled and walked out ........meanwhile when she walked out a group of men walked in .........the man in the flashy suit greeted them and said " the program is going according to plan. ....an foolish woman just invested 3000 dollars.....they all laughed and said. ...she's going to be shocked beyond her wildest expectations. ........

CJ'S POV

My family had been at loggerheads for a while now....and it's all thanks to my mother's foolish behaviour. .... but what I was now concerned about was my little brother and my dad .....for a while now dad as been talking to me about travelling out of the country for a new job .....he also talked about divorcing mum. .....I was very happy for him that he was getting a new job ....but I was very sad about the fact that he was going to leave us ....and also divorce mum .......and one thing that shocked me the most was that he talked about renting a new house for Jack and I. ...he didn't include mum ....he said he wanted to do that because he thought mum was going to do something very stupid because of her greed and he didn't want it to affect us. .......

And to top things ......the my school just called that ..school would be closed indefinitely cause aparrently someone caused a fire...and the fire burnt down most of the school before the firefighters could stop it ......I was just so confused ....atleast Jack could always meet his girlfriend ....but I hadn't been talking to Max alot lately ....and Sam was now getting attention from that bloody girl Kenzie. ....Nora was busy with her lessons and stuff. ... and I really needed someone to talk to ....so I decided to text Max. ..
CJ 💖😙: hi max
MAX 💖💟: hi .....how are you doing
CJ 💖😙: bad.....I really miss you. .. and things aren't going so well...
MAX 💖💟: oh I'm so sorry about that CJ. ...I've been really busy with my dad's paperwork and stuff .....I've really missed you too.....
CJ 💖😙: I know you've been really busy doing your dad's paperwork cause he's not doing good .....I'm just confused. .and I need someone to talk to ....darling
MAX 💖💟: I'm going to make it up to you. .... I'll come over to your place tomorrow love .....you don't need to be down ....I'll always be there for you. ...
CJ 💖😙: okay love ....see you later ....

After my conversation with Max. ... I felt quite better. ....

Jack's POV

The family has been bonding quite well ....by family I mean dad ..CJ and I. ..... CJ has been helping me know how to impress and talk to Mabel better .....while dad has been playing a father and a motherly role for me .....

My relationship with Mabel as been going very smooth. ....I really loved her but she still says love's a strong word ......I always try to make her know I love her .....but she just kisses and pecks me .....but I'm still happy that she has feelings for me ......

I was just getting ready to take her out. ....the school burning was just the thing I needed. .....after i had dressed up .....asked CJ if I looked good ... I headed to Mabel's house. ....entered an uber , after driving for like 7 minutes. ...I arrived at her house .....I stepped out of the car ...paid the uber driver and then proceed to ring the door bell ....after a minute or so .....the door opened and wow .. I saw the girl that made me tick ...she was stunning....he dragged me inside. .... I asked if her parents were around. ...she said no they weren't. .. then she pecked me and said I want us to be together for today. .....I smiled and stroked her face ....after that i kissed her ...she was a feirce kisser ....she bit my lower lip while my tongue wrapped around hers....after a while she pulled out and said ....I don't know why I can't resist your kisses. .....I just smiled and said because you love me .....she just blushed and Said. ... I'm I not too young to love .....I shook my head .... things progressed

Kim's POV

After I had applied for that program ....I was already making plans to purchase things with the money I'll receive. ....
After a month ...... I drove to the the place I applied for the program ....only to see a buliding that looked like no one had even been there. ...I thought I was at the wrong place ...but I asked people around and they told me that this was the right address.....I also asked if there was an office here but they said ....the office had been cleared out 2 weeks ago ....I was shocked ....then John's warning came into my thoughts. ..but I waved it away .....after a while. ...I called the number that was given to me by the receptionist. ...but my phone system told me it wasn't a number ....that it didn't exist ......I was so confused ....I walked into my car .....I wondered if I had not been duped .... I stared crying ....thought about what John told me ....I cried ....I had borrowed from the bank ...and I placed my car as the collateral. ...I was in a big mess.....and I told the bank that i would pay back ....in just 3 weeks and 3 weeks was almost over ..... I was so confused and shocked ....I just paid for my own greed ......
