JAEMIN

I woke up to a light ray of sunshine shining into my room.
Sunshine in the middle of winter? Then today'll be lovely for sure.

I put on a smile as I sat up. I don't have a headache anymore and.. Damn it I just feel better in general.
Then I suddenly jumped out of bed.
Dahee.

Where's she? Don't tell me she slept on the couch-

I quietly walked into the living room. There was the girl lying on the couch in my clothes, the blanket on the floor.
I shook my head and crouched down to cover her with it gently.
I stayed still for a while, just staring at her. A bit weird, I know, but come on, I couldn't do it for six months.

She's always beautiful but there's something so peaceful about her sleeping, it makes her look even more lovely.

After going to the bathroom and changing, I decided to make some breakfast for the both of us.

Let's see what's left in my fridge since Jisung probably ate most of the food yesterday while he was nursing me..

I was putting a dirty pan into the dishwasher when it slipped out of my hand and landed on the floor with a loud 'bam'.
Fuck.

I looked into the living room, hoping Dahee wouldn't wake up but I didn't have such luck.

'What happened?' She asked while sitting up.

'Don't worry, it was just a pan.'

'Mhm. Are you feeling better? You seem so.'

A warm smile plastered on my face. She cares about me.
'Yeah, I do. I made breakfast by the way, come after getting ready.'

'Really?' She asked, her eyes gleaming. 'Thanks, I'll come in a minute.'

I watched as she left then leaned to the counter with a sigh.
Why is she acting so.. girlfriend-ly suddenly? Not just today morning but also yesterday night.
And why does my heart flutter everytime she looks at me?
What are you doing to me, Lee Dahee?

After a few minutes, Dahee came back from the bathroom, putting her hair into a ponytail. She sat in front of me at the dining table, admiring the food I made. It did look good, I have to admit.
After the first bite, Dahee sighed and looked at me. 'Damn, I forgot how much of a good cook you are.'

'Thanks.' I smiled lightly. Forgot? Why does this sound so.. awkward?

We ate our breakfast in silence, a kind of awkward one.
It felt nostalgic, of course. But if you think about it.. we didn't talk for like six months and now (after meeting three times) she spend the night at my place - without us.. talking about what really happened. Ugh.

I decided to speak up. I have a chance to bring it up, let's not miss it.
'Dahee, I wanted to ask you something for a long time.'

She looked at me, raising one of her eyebrows up.

'Why did you cheat on me?'
