I woke up today dreading school.
I got ready and went downstairs, basically begging mom to skip school but ofcourse she said no so here I am now, in front of the school gate waiting for the courage to kick in.
I finally went inside and the first 3 lessons were very boring, I havent seen Jake in school today, not even my friends since I didn't have any lessons with them.
I know that I have to mentally prepare myself for what's about to happen, I either face the fact that I killed Jake or I have to convince him to let me explain everything to him about what he is, when I discover what he is.
When the bell rang I walked to the cafeteria where I saw Scott and the others and I went to sit down next to them
You: have any of you seen Jake today?
Stiles: it's nice to see you too, I.
You: shit sorry, how are you feeling?
Stiles: I'm fine. Why are you searching for Jake?
You: because I think I killed him.
Lydia: what?!
Scott: keep your voices down!
He whisper shouted
Allison: what are you talking about?
Isaac: we were fighting off a group of wendigos yesterday, one of them was the guy that killed that dude near Lydia's lake house and Isay accidentally bit Jake
Lydia: he said it was a mountain lion on TV, that was you?!
Stiles: wha- HOW do you 'ACCIDENTALLY' bite someone?!
You: he sneaked up on me! I thought he was another wendigo
Allison: so he knows?
Liam: not unless she killed him
You: great! Thanks for the support Liam
Liam: sorry, just saying..
Stiles: wait I think I did see him today
You: really?!
Stiles: i dont know if it was him or one of his friends, I only saw him from the back
You: when? Where?
Stiles: he was out on the soccer field
Scott: alone?
Stiles: IF it was him, yes
Me, Scott, isaac and Liam all got out of our seats and ran to the empty soccer field.
The gate was closed but I could see a figure out in the middle of the field holding a ball in his hand
The rest of the pack made it but before I let them come any closer I stopped them
You: I'm going alone
Scott: isay you cant g-
You: look I'm the one who bit him, I'm responsible for him, I'm the one that has to explain everything
Scott: fine.. we'll be here if you need us
I nodded and walked inside the field.
The guy was definitely Jake even though his scent smelled different now
I walked behind him and when he turned around he almost fell over to step back
Jake: g-get the hell away from me!
You: I just wanna talk-
Jake: NO
You: does it hurt? The bite?
