The Next Blood Moon

Chapter One

12 Year's later..

"Are you excited in a couple of hours your going to be eighteen today and then your power's will manifest" My uncle Andrew said as he walked in and sat on the bed close to me

My uncle has always been there for me he was like a father to me he was also my huge friend when I was little also the one who I rode on his back during the attack on our village

The attack that took both my mom and dad away from me

"Yes uncle I'm very excited but I'm not sure about which power will manifest"

"It doesn't matter whether you're vampire or werewolf what all that matters is that your the chosen one and will lead us Okay" My uncle assured me

My mom was a white werewolf and was the last of her kind and my dad was a vampire

My uncle told me the story of how both of them fell in love it all started with a prophecy and prophecy that was never fulfilled and it all ended with both of them falling in love and then giving birth to me but then they had me as a still born

Causing both my parents to sacrifice their power just me to live

"Anyways I just came to give you this dress it for you to wear when we'll all be out tonight" He had over the dress and then he left

The dress was beautiful it was a white gown I placed them on my bed and went out to help moves supplies from the truck

Ever since we all left home we've all been leaving on the camp in secret keeping our identity from the humans no one ever leaves this place neither does anyone comes in except for the trunks that brings supply every five days

I walked over to the trunk and also started to help lift creates

"Let me help me with that" Jake said as he brought forward his hand to help

" It fine Jake I can manage " I said and gave him a smile with a thank you expression

"Alright then if you say so"

Jake's a werewolf and he had his first shift last year he has been my best friend for as long as I can remember ever since the first day we met on the camp

I was scared to get down from the trunk the first night we all arrived and then I just sat there as I watch everyone get down and then he walked up to me and took my hands in his and then smiled at me and that how we became friends

11:50pm

I had only ten minutes left ten minutes that will change my life forever I had gotten dressed and just sat on my bed

"You're looking so beautiful Malia"
"Yes Malia you're looking so pretty" Crystal and Natalia said as soon as they walked in crystal was my uncle Andrew wife she's just like a mother to me and Natalia is both their daughter

" Thank you " I said with a smile

" Come on it's time now " Crystal said

I stood up and went out and followed her to where everyone was

And then I took my position in the middle of the circle where others who were going to be having their first shift were standing

'It's time' I heard someone said which means it's already midnight and would shift any time soon

I saw the way the rest of the girls shift and the dress they wore were ripped and then then took off to transform back and change into another clothes while I just stood there waiting

"She isn't ready yet she needs a push Liam Robin" Veruska jake mother said and called Liam whose a vampire and was also like an uncle to me he's in charge of all vampires and Robin

I stood in guard ready to fight as soon as they charge ready to attack I also did the same but they were to fast then I received a blow making all my body feel weak and fell to the ground

"Malia come on " I heard my uncle said from the midst of the crowd

I got up and then I also charged at the this time I was able to fight back blocking all their attack and then both of them grab both my hands

"Come on Malia " My uncle said again

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

I yelled as I pushed the both of them off and fell to the ground

Now I was surrounded with a lot of vampire I tried to fight them off but in a weak state I couldn't as I received blow from different angles

"That's enough we all know Malia is different than the other her power's are not ready yet" My uncle said and came to help me get up

" If not now when she is the chosen one to lead us to but she's still weak " Veruska said and then everyone started to whisper to one another

"That's enough now Malia has already been through enough"

My uncle Andrew said and took me to my room as my aunt and Natalia help took care of my wound and left me to rest
