"So...?" Lisa sat at the backseat looking out of the window. "NG stands for New Girl and it is convenient cause Jay and Jk aren't exactly friends and your douchebag likes new 'stuff'" Jennie turns towards Lisa. "Read Club Whistle's and doubt that Jk is a 'sweet' boyfriend." Jennie shrugged her shoulders again."Oh...thanks I guess." Lisa looked out again as the car comes to a halt. "Everyone knows what Jisoo's deal with A&E but you?" Lisa scooted closer towards the front seat, trying to see Jennie's face clearer. "I see no connection whatsoever with Ace's & Eights with you," Lisa said again when Jennie stayed quiet.
"Can we get the Park-Avery girl first before we talk. I don't like repeating myself." Jennie sighed, brushing her hair making it messier than it was. "Carter-Lee? What's the plan?" Jisoo took out her phone as she texted Jr. "Well, I'm waiting for Jr to text me back. Paid him to get Rosé's number."
"You don't have that ready yet? I was hoping that you had set the cutleries out." Jennie sighed. "Do you have a laptop?" She wrapped her hair in a tight knot bun, waiting as Jisoo gave her laptop. "Give me at least 30 minutes and I'll get Rosé's number for you."
"You can hack?" Lisa said a little too loudly and if Lisa didn't say that, Jisoo would have said that instead. "A little." Jennie ignored the amused face on Lisa's and Jisoo's smirk. "We're gonna park here and turn the AC off," Jisoo said and the rest nodded.
Lisa decided to sit on the car's hood instead as she softly sang accompanying Jennie's continuous clicking on the laptop. Jisoo kept contacting Jr's number and got frustrated that none of them went through. It was luck that the next day was a weekend and it seemed like Rosé lived in the suburbs area so there was none likely anyone who would know them.
"Done," Jennie announced, getting out of the car as Lisa scooted on the car's hood letting the girl sat next to her. "You have a dummy phone or whatever right?" Jisoo nodded as she tossed the flip phone where Lisa caught for them.
"What should we say?" Lisa opened the text message and her eyes sparkled looking at the now ancient way of texting. "Be vague and mysterious about it but make her intrigued and interested." Lisa gulped looking at the two of them. How? Why? What? All sorts of the question went to her brain but all she was glad that she wasn't on the opposite side.
"So... Um Jisoo, could you write for us?" Lisa gave the phone towards Jisoo. Jisoo typed something and hit send. "Line." She breathed, rubbing her hands together. "Bait." She looked at Rosé's room that suddenly lit up. There came another ping to the dummy phone. "And hook." She smirked when the three of them saw the front door opened.
Lisa was genuinely impressed, and Jennie mirrored the smirk that never left Jisoo's face. They watch as the female doubtfully walked towards them. They definitely looked like troubled with their skintight outfits, sitting on the hood of the car. "Are you Jisoo?" Jisoo signalled the girl to come closer, studying her features.
"How did you know about Jaehyun? and that another brat that was with him this afternoon?" She questioned looking at the three of them. She didn't know any of them. The girl with the red dress stepped closer. "Well, I'm Vante's fiancee." She smiled but it was insincere. "What?" Lisa looked at Jennie in disbelief. "Don't worry hun. It's all business and I hate being used by men."
"Should we go somewhere private to discuss things? We can't be caught being Femme Fatale on the streets." Jennie huffed as she went to the passengers' side. "Jennie's right, we could be caught with how long we've parked in front of your house." Lisa shocked still evident, followed silently begrudging Rosé to follow suit.
Jisoo droved for few minutes until they stopped at their local beach. "Ah! today's been a beach." Jennie exhaled as she went out of the car. "Wait, was that a pun? Jennie, you do puns?" Lisa followed the female from behind as they took off their heels and ran towards the sea. Rosé felt out of place until Jisoo rests her hand on her shoulder, leading her to the beach.
"So, that's why you're recruiting? "Jennie arched her eyebrows looking at Jisoo. Jisoo shrugged her shoulders as if to say, more or less. "Right, as I've told you before Vante or Taehyung whatever you want to call him is my fiancée." she paused playing with the sands. Grasping them in her hands and watching as it slowly falls.
" We've been arranged for the future of our business, but as usual, arranged marriage is never easy, and he doesn't want to be seen in public with me. And I hate not being control of my life." Jennie grasped the sand that was in her hands tightly but still a few slips from her.
"My turn." Lisa inhales. "My ex-boyfriend is Jeon Jungkook and I want him to have his heart so broken, he'll lose himself. He made up rumours about me being the toxic girlfriend because Club Whistle found out about my relationship with him. He probably has lots of side chick." She huffed.
"So, what's your story?" They all turn anticipate Rosé's side story. "Oh... Jae and I were childhood friends, like you know I thought he was my...soulmate or whatever but suddenly one day he changed and started to bully me and called me names. I didn't even know what happened." She exhaled.
"But I became anxious and depressed and yeah. I don't really want to see him again actually but seeing him today just boils me up and I just want him I don't know, suffer maybe." Jisoo nodded at all of them. "We're the main players in this reign game. So, let's get our Femme Fatale on."
