DILARA'S POV

I continued to hear shouting outside, along with the sound of the waves. My wrists were aching from the rope tied around them, somehow getting tighter and tighter every time I struggled. "Fuck...I'm screwed." I mumbled to myself as I looked around. I thought about what Captain Soto said to me. Saying how he's taking me somewhere safe, away from Nadakhan. I pondered what he could've possibly meant, Nadakhan hasn't tried to hurt me once, but yet Soto talks about him like he could start the end of the world. Then again, Nadakhan hasn't told me shit about him, like he wants to stay a mystery. I pondered some more until two pirates barged into the room and started untying me.

"What are you doing?" I asked them as they lifted me out of the seat and dragged me along with them. "You'll see." Was what one pirate said back, and that was that. They took me to the deck of the ship, where we met up with Captain Soto. "Dilara.." He started, "Welcome to ninjago." He stretched his arm outward and motioned it to the edge of land.  I looked out onto the stretch of land, which seemed never ending, and this wasn't an island, this was a whole huge piece of land.

The pirates sat me in a row boat along with them and Captain Soto. We were lowered down and the pirates rowed us to land, where I was lifted out and taken to a small little "campsite" full of pirates and other...pirate-y things. I was led into one tent, which had a hammock, and a small desk with a chair, along with a book or two stacked on the desk. The pirates let me go and Captain Soto told me, "This is where you'll be staying, make yourself at home! I'll come get you when it's time for dinner." He smiled and left with the other two pirates, then it was just me.  I walked up to the desk and looked at the books. They were VERY worn out, and had some water damage. I looked towards the hammock, which seemed somewhat comfortable, but not really. I sighed and sat in the chair, looking down at the ground. "How long am I going to be here?" I asked myself and looked back up. "Am I really going to stay here forever? Or will Nadakhan find me again?"

So many thoughts were swarming my head as I thought of the possibilities of what could happen next. I was so lost in thought that I lost track of time as well. I heard some sort of knock before Captain Soto walked in, "Dinner is ready, come on." He motioned me to get up and follow him, and I did so. I walked outside to feel the evening breeze hit my face and I looked up to see some stars. I walked with Soto till we reached this cabin-like building and went inside. It didn't smell too bad, but still not a very good smell either. Soto sat me down in a chair close to him, he leaned over and whispered, "Not all the pirates here are good, so it'll be best for you to stay with me." He stood back up and sat down.

Dinner was soon served as we began dining. The noise and smell of rum/beer was overwhelming. I did my best to ignore it, and just continued to eat. I got finished eating and just sat there, waiting until I got to go back to my tent. As I waited, a pirate, most definitely drunk, staggered over to me and sat down right next to my side. "Hey there lovely!!" He looked at me with a crooked smile. I just said "Hi" and looked away from him. "Whose crew are you apart of darlin? I've never seen you around before." I sighed, "I'm part of Captain Soto's crew." I lied to prevent the confusion if i was to say part of Nadakhan's crew. "That's nice, that's nice.." He replied and sniffed. He slowly crept his arm me and I smacked him. "Don't. Touch. ME!" I shouted and started to walk out, to go back to my tent. He grabbed my arm and pulled me towards him. "Feisty ain't ya?" He laughed. I struggled but couldn't get free, until Soto came up and knocked him out with a glass bottle. "Let's go" He said and led me out.

As we got to my tent, Captain Soto turned to me, "Sorry you had to deal with that, like I said, not all pirates here are good." I smiled and replied, "It's fine, I've dealt with things like that before." "Wouldn't be surprised, anyway, have a good night Dilara." He waved and left me alone. I went into my tent and tried to get some sleep.

"Dilara!!" my mother called me, with her lovely smile and angelic voice, "Dilara!! Come over here!"  "Okay mother!" I ran towards her, smiling and laughing. But the closer I got, the more distorted her face was. Her face started burning and she started screaming in pain, I stopped as tears fell down my face....."Mommy?....MOMMYYYY!?!"
