DILARA'S POV
I walked through the elegant halls of the castle alongside my maid, Mary, and into the dressing room. Mary was giving me suggestions of what to wear. "How about this one?" Mary asked, pointing to a bright purple dress. "No," I say. "It's too bright and wouldn't go well with the setting of the party." "O-of course. What was I thinking?" Mary muttered. She walked down the asile to look for another one. "This one?" She asked again. This time, pointed to a fluffy blue one. I nodded my head no. Too big. I looked to my left and found the perfect dress. "How about this one, Mary?" I asked. "Yes, Miss Dilara. It's perfect!" Mary said with glee.
(Since I'm too lazy to discribe the outfit, just look at the picture.) I took off the dress that I was already wearing. Mary helped me put on the new one and straightened it out a little. "I love it!" I squealed. I did a little twirl.
"May you sit down so I can do your hair miss?" Mary asked sweetly. "Of course Mary." I said. I sat down on a stool and faced the mirror in front of me. Mary started to lightly brush my hair. "Mary?" I asked. "Yes, Miss Dilara?" Mary questioned. "I've been wanting to go out and explore the world ever since I was seven. Do you think, just maybe, that my parents will let me go this year?" I asked. Mary gasped. "Oh heavens, no! The world is far too dangerous for a princess! Especially out on the ocean! There are monsters, predetors, and..and..." "Pirates?" I interuppted her. "Yes. Pirates." Mary shuddered. Pirates have been a big nuisance this year. Nearby kingdoms are being robbed by pirates. My parents are making sure that the castle is well guarded so pirates can't get in, especially tonight. "All finished!" Mary exclaimed. "Thank you." I curtsied. I followed Mary back into the hallway and down to the ballroom. "Are you ready for tonight?" Mary asked. "Ready as I'll ever be." I smiled. She opened the doors and in I went.
I walked to the other side of the ballroom. I saw my dad chatting with another king, who has recently been robbed by those ghastly pirates. "Hello, Father." I curtsied. "Why hello, my daughter. This is king Rowan." My father introduced. "Why hello! You must be the princess!" Rowan boasted out. No shit, Sherlock. "Why yes, I am." I fake-smiled. "She's quite a beaut you got there." Rowan chuckled, elbowing my father. "Dilara," My father said. "Why don't you go introduce yourself to King Rowan's daughter, Lilian?" "Or course, father." I walked off and walked up to Lilian. Oh great, a bleach-blonde. "Hello. You must be Lilian." I smiled. She turned around. I was trying not to laugh once I saw the piles of makeup she apparently "dumped" on her face. "That's Princess Lilian to you." She scoffed. "And you are?" "Princess Dilara." I replied, this time with no smile. I could already tell she wasn't going to be a future friend of mine. She laughed. "What kind of name is that?" "It was actually my grandmother's name, she pasted away a few years ago." I said. "Wait, so your parents are calling you old?" Lilian laughed.
This girl was now acting more of like a pest than a princess. Two other girls then walked up. "Who's this." One of then scoffed. "Meet the old princess Dilara." Lilian teased. "She was named after her grandmother!" The other two laughed along. I was trying so hard not to punch this girl right now. I then had an idea. I picked up a cup of red wine and threw it at her glistening, white dress. She gasped. "How dare you?!" She shrieked. "Do you even know how much this dress cost!?" I smiled, being proud of what I've done. "I am SO telling my dad!" Lilian stomped off, the two others following her, fearing that I was going to ruin their dresses too. "Serves them right." I mumbled. I walked outside onto the balcony. "What good is a party if it isn't even that fun?" I sighed. It wasn't anything new to me. My parent's parties were always boring. I don't see how anyone can enjoy them. I guess I'm not "fancy" enough. So instead, I have to sit here on my ass, in this boring castle, Doing absolutely NOTHING! And that's when I heard it. I snicker. But who's?
I turned around. No one was there. "Hello?" I asked, looking around. "Is someone there?" I heard the balcony door slam shut, along with the curtains. I turned around and started to back up. "W-who's there!" I shouted out. The snickering got louder. I backed up and started to lose balance. I screamed as I started to fall backwards. I felt someone's hands grab my arms and pull me up to safety. I gasped and regained my balance. "Glad I could catch you." I heard a voice say. I looked up to see a....a... "Pirate!" I yelled. I fell to the floor and started to scoot away. He had orange skin and four arms. He was also floating. "What are you?" I asked, frightened. "A jinn." He chuckled. " And who are you?" "D-Dilara." I stuttered. "Dilara. Unique name. Name's Nadakhan." He greeted me with a smirk. He started to float towards me. I backed up some more until I was up against the balcony's railings.
He grabbed my arm and pulled me up. "Beautiful little thing." He admired. He started looking at me up and down. "A very beautiful little thing." I was now internally vomiting. First of all, this 'jinn' was a pirate. Second of all, he was now checking me out. How could this day get any worse? I thought to myself. I heard a bomb-fire hit the castle. There were screams coming from the inside. Oh no. I started to run towards the balcony's doors, but was pulled away. "Let go of me!" I screamed, struggling to get loose. "Heh. I don't think so." He snickered. "You're my little treasure now." I tried pushing him away, and then kicking. But nothing was working. "Round up all the things you can find!" He shouted out. "Then hurry up and get back to the ship!" I was still struggling to get free, but something hard hit my head, and I blacked out. Well shit.
