A couple of days later, after a nap on the couch, someone shakes me awake, "Hey, baby Poseidon. Wake up." That voice. I haven't heard that voice in forever. Ren shakes me awake, "Hey, I came to check on you. I heard that you were having a hard time."
I sit up, "What are you doing here? You graduated years ago." The Kim brothers, the dwarf, and the bastard's brother is here.
Minsu strokes my hair, "We heard you were having a hard time. I just found out about Jaiden and his mom. I am so sorry that they are missing... What happened to your face?" Of course they are gonna ask.
"If I show you will you promise not to laugh?" They all look surprised. "I mean it. Promise not to laugh right now!"
They all nod, "Okay, we promise not to laugh at the stupid tattoo that you got while drunk." That's what they think it is?
"It's not a tattoo and I've never touched alcohol before. I'll let Wren pull of the bandage so you all can see what his brother did to me." I can't tell their reactions.
Wren slowly takes the bandages off, "My brother did this huh? I'll kill him later. First we need to stop the bleeding..." It's still bleeding?
"Does it still look bad?" I can tell that they are disgusted by it. I still haven't taken the tubes out. I'm scared of Aaron. He comes in and checks on me every night. I don't even go on campus during the day time anymore out of fear of running into him.
"Take the tubes out, then it can heal properly. You'll be scarred but you won't have holes in your cheek." I just can't. He tries to pull out the first tube.
"Stop. Aaron will get mad. He breaks into my room every night to check if they are still in. He always points a gun at me too." Minsu looks like he's gonna be sick. I knew it. I'm disgusting.
"He has a gun huh? I'm honestly scared of him too. I-I don't know what to do other than just do what he says." His older brother can't even stop him.
Aiden tries to pull me to my feet, "Let's go out for Chinese. You like fried rice right? Let's go get that. It'll get you to stop moping." He has a point.
I stand up and tower over him, "I don't have the money..." I do but I don't want to go. I like being on the couch.
"I'll pay for everyone." What? He doesn't have much money. "I still live with my parents, so I don't have to pay rent, electric bill, water bill, or food. My entire salary goes into savings."
"I still don't feel right using your money..." He gives me a condescending look. "I can't take you seriously when I'm looking down at you..." Kicking me, he pulls me towards the door.
Behind us, Ben speaks kinda loudly, "Who are these people? And why did they have keys to the house?" Oh. They still have keys?
"They are past brothers. Wren and Aiden were here last year. The rest of them were here during my first three years. I guess we forgot to take the keys back." I should do that this year.
"How long will they be staying? We have no room for them." That is a lie. We have enough room if they all agree to split two rooms.
"They will be leaving by the end of the day. Don't worry." If my condition gets that bad I might not be able to keep that promise.
Soomin and Minsu talk at the same time, "Let's go! I'm hungry." I guess I'm going out to eat.
Seunggyo taps my shoulder, "You have a car with the license plate 'Posidon' right? You should drive." Ugg. "I know that face. Last time I saw you, you didn't have a drivers license. That is a brand-new car right? Last year's model. How did you get something so expensive?"
