A bright light shines down on my face. What? Something weighs me down on my arm. I open my eyes to a bunch of people staring back at me and Jaiden on my arm, pushing me back down on the bed, "He is mine! Let me spend some time with him!"
Ace pokes my cheek, "According to our records you will only be heartbroken... oh shit he is awake..." Duh!
"Poseidon?" Sitting up, I move down so I'm next to Jaiden. My head digs into his neck as I hug him. "You... don't... hate me?" You are my plutonic soulmate.
I squeeze him with both arms, "I don't think it is possible to hate someone as energetic as you. I missed you. We need to talk about what happened after you left me." He might put a positive spin on it.
Tears stream down his face, "L-left y-you? I... left you?" People around us start to get uncomfortable. They must have left people too.
"Everything is fine now. I'm happy that you are here with me. Are you happy to be here with me too?" He's slowly stopping the tears.
"My mom told me that she told you about... me and... my... thoughts about you..." He loves me.
"Do you remember our deal?" He shakes his head. "We agreed that if you aren't married by the time you are forty then I will get the surgery to be a girl and we will get married." People are whispering back and forth.
"The only reason I said that I only had sex with girls was so I could convince myself that I didn't like you. I don't care that you're a guy." Hmm...
