**Matt's POV**

Regan's face after seeing the boys for pretty much the very first time, wasn't as pleased as I'd expected it to be. Devin and Lori seemed happy with her reaction to the triplets, but I thought it looked forced.

Devin elbowed me and glared. Huffing to show my displeasure, I picked up Cayden and passed him to Regan. She took him gently, and held him up to look at. He immediately began screaming, and she held him away from her body. Lori took him and rocked him against her shoulder, shushing him quietly.

Regan was having obvious trouble hiding her distaste. "Still think your up for being a mom?" I sneered at her.

She narrowed her eyes back at me. "I can get used to it. It takes more than five minutes to get used to having triplets!"

"You could have had a whole year! And it didn't seem to bother you that I had to get used to them in five minutes! Less than that, actually!"

"Matthias." Devin warned, placing his hand on my shoulder. Surprisingly, it calmed me down a lot. He directed his comforting gaze to Regan. "It's okay. He's probably just fussy, anyway. Try holding Ben, he's usually very quiet." He picked the boy up and handed him to his mother.

She looked up into his grey eyes and eventually, a smile broke out across her face. I have to admit, it looked genuine. She laid him down on her shoulder and patted his back softly.

Suddenly, she jerked him away from her body. "Little fucker bit me!!!" She thrusted my son back towards me and grabbed her shoulder.

"Watch your language in front of the boys!" Lori said sternly. I simply chuckled and patted Ben's back proudly. That's my boy!

"Look, Regan, how about you start coming by the apartment every now and then and let the boys get used to you?" Devin suggested with a sigh.

"What!?" I gasped incredulously.

"Really?" She inquired.

"Sure. I think we all if you just need to get used to one another." He said, glaring at me pointedly.

I rolled my eyes and turned to pick up Andrew with my free arm. "Know what I think?"

"I'm sure you're going to share it." Devin growled sarcastically.

"I think they know bad news when they see it." I hissed, looking Regan up and down.

She crossed her arms and glared back at me. This is probably the worst idea Devin has ever had.

**Devin's POV**

This could be the best idea I ever had!

Sure, Matt and Regan would need a little time before they could stand eachother, but the boys needed both of their parents in their life. Matt should be glad Regan has taken an interest in the triplets.

That night as Matt and I put the boys to bed, he begged me to take my offer back.

"Come on, Dev. She hasn't cared a lick about them since the second she found out she was pregnant. Why does she suddenly need to be in their lives? I think we're doing a fantastic job without her!"

"Matthias, they need a female figure in their enviroment."

"I'm pretty sure your mother is female."

"This is not the time to tease about my mother! I'm not taking my offer back. That's the end of it."

He whined childishly, "Deviiiin, they hate her."

"They're babies. Babies don't hate people."

He pouted.

"Final answer, Matt. She's coming over Friday and we're going to go eat at Chucky Cheese or something."

"Fine." He crossed his arms and basically stomped out of the room.

I rolled my eyes and followed him out. "Good night, Matthias." I called from my room a few moments later.

No reply. Silent treatment. That's so Matt.

Just as I was about to fall asleep, I heard my bedroom door creak open. Soft footsteps padded to my bed before I felt it sink in under Matt's weight. He crawled up to the top and threw the covers over himself, snuggling into my back. "I'm still mad at you." He said as he pulled me closer to his chest.

I smile to myself. "Good night, Matt."

"Night," He kissed my cheek and settled back in.

"Love you." He said in a barley audible whisper. My grin widened and I drifted into a deep sleep.
