Ironman 2020

Several months later Matt is all set for the Ironman 2020 in Cebu. He has been training very hard since they got back from Bali and looking forward to break his time record this year. Sarah, on the other hand, had been busy doing her Sunday show, endorsements and agreed to do one film with her Ate Juday again.
Sarah: Mahal, hahabol lang ako sa Cebu. We will be shooting final scenes for the film. Si Ate Juday will be leaving early flight Friday kasi una sya matatapos.
Matt: What time is your flight and when?
Sarah: Afternoon of Saturday. Sunday pa naman ang race mo di ba?
Matt: Yeah. Ok, but you have to be there, Love. We will bring Manu with us this Wednesday. Kasama ko naman sina Giorgia and Mama.
Sarah: Yes po. I wouldn't miss it for the world. Manu will go with you and also his yaya. Gusto nga sana nina Daddy pumunta to watch kaso may work yata sa resto.
Matt: I'll miss you (hugs her), 3 days din yun. Sana sabay ka na lang kay Ate Juday.
Sarah (hugs him back): I will miss you both...Manu and you.
Matt (kisses her hair): You do know that you really don't have to work? I can provide for our family.
Sarah: Mahal....
Matt: Sorry, I know I know.. You love your work. It's just that sometimes I feel that I have to compete with your work.... For you to spare me time.
Sarah (held his face with both her hands): Mahal, I'm sorry if you feel that way. I'm trying my best to balance things. But I love you so much, ok. If it will make you happy I can quit.
Matt: I don't want you to do that. I know how much you love your job. Pasensiya na I'm just looking for lambing I think.
Sarah: I love you (kisses him on the lips). We just need to adjust to some things (hugs him tightly)
Matt (hugs her back and kiss her hair): I love you too...so much.

Sarah: Ate Anna, kailangan natin magmadali. 3pm ang flight natin and 1pm na nandito pa tayo.
Ate Anna: Aabot tayo. Nag web check in naman tayo.
Sarah: If d tayo aabot, we will have trouble booking for another flight. Fully booked kasi because of Ironman. Matt will be really disappointed. (Her phone rings) And here he is... Yes love. We are on our way to the airport. How's Manu?
Matt: He's ok. He's looking for you. Love, call me once you're in the airport.
After several hours, she called Matt.
Sarah: Love, sorry we did not make it on time for the flight. Several turn of events nag traffic dahil may nagbanggaan sa daan and nagflat tire pa ang sasakyan. We will try as chance passenger.
Matt (replied weakly): I guess we can't do anything about it.
Sarah: Mahal.... Sorry. I can try a private plane.
Matt: No, don't do that. I prefer that you ride a commercial airline. I have a thing for private planes. The race starts early morning tomorrow.
Sarah: I'll do everything it para makarating ako. Ok? (Worried that she might not make it on time). There are 3 flights left here in PAL to Cebu. I might be able to get in one of these flights kahit isang seat lang maiiwan si Ate Anna.
Matt: Ok. Just let me know. Be safe ok? Miss you (said weakly)

She was able to board the last flight at 9pm to Cebu. She was fetched by the family driver and went straight to Shangrila Mactan where she arrived at 11pm.
MG: Iha, good thing you made it. (Mommy Glenna meet her at the lobby) Matt is super worried and medyo pissed off na kanina because of circumstances. He went ahead in your room and tried to sleep kasi 4am tomorrow ang assembly for the race.
Sarah: Oo nga Ma. Buti na lang may available seat sa last flight. Mas mahirap if tomorrow pa mas hindi ako aabot.
MG: Manu will be sleeping with me. Si Papa ninyo will not be racing naman so we can take care of Manu. Go now to your room. Have you eaten? You can just order room service.
Sarah: I'm not hungry Ma. I had snacks sa airport. Punta na lang ako sa room.
When she entered the room, she saw him already asleep. She quietly settled in and went to the bathroom for a quick shower. When she got out, Matt shifted position on bed and woke up.
Matt (squinting): Love, is that you? (Rubbing his eyes, got up and hugged Sarah) Thank God you're here. You got me worried.
Sarah: I told you I'll be here. Go back to bed, you need to rest. Maaga pa bukas. I'll just finish up and matutulog na rin. (Kisses Matt)

The next morning as early as 3am all triathletes assembled at the beach. The couple walking while holding hands were greeted by their friends.
Ivan (smiles): Sarah, you made it! No wonder Matt is smiling widely. Kulang na lang mamaril yan sa inis kagabi.
Sarah (smiles): I know I had to be here.
Matt (puts his arm on her shoulder and pulls her close): Thank you, Love. Mahal mo talaga ako (smiles)
Giorgia: Kuya, we all see that. You love each other too much pa nga. We have to get ready na. Ate, you look great in shorts! You look so young parang wala kang anak.
Matt: I told her nga na to wear pants but I never win anyway. I'm sure it will be all over social media na naman.
Sarah: Ang init kaya! (Laughs) Minsan naman ako mag shorts.
Matt: I know, Love. Ang sexy mo nga but what I don't like is all those eyes appreciating your sexiness. I have assigned someone to accompany you parang bodyguard. Malalagot ako kina Mommy if something happens to you.
Sarah: Hay naku! You worry too much Love. Be careful ok? Puntahan sina Mama to get Manu once the kicks off. We will be waiting sa finish line.
Matt: Ok. (Pulls her close kiss her on the lips and hugs her) I love you.
Ivan: Guys, ang lakas ninyo mang inggit (laughs)
Kristy: You both are just too sweet. Let's go Sarah we will eat first after they kick off. Kahit coffee lang muna.
Matt (holding Sarah's hand): Later na Kristy. 3:30am pa lang.
Giorgia: Kuya we have to prepare na sa assembly line. Hayaan mo na si Kristy and Ate.
Matt: Ok. I'll see you after 4 hours (kisses her again).
Ivan: Positive thinking....you're hoping to break your record ha.
Matt: Siempre naman lakas makavitamins ni Mahal e (smiles)
The race kicked off, Sarah and Kristy drank coffee by the hotel's lobby and just waited until about 6-7am to get Manu. When Sarah knocked at her parents-in-law room Daddy Gianluca opened the door.
DG: Hi Princess! Good morning.
Sarah: Hi Dad! Good morning (kiss him on the cheek)
Manu: Mama! Mama! (runs towards his Mom)
Sarah: Hi Baby! I missed you so much! (Lifts Manu and showered him with kisses). Let's go and get ready and we will wait for Dada at the finish line. (Manu hugs her tightly)

Sarah and Manu waited at the finish line together with Kristy, their other friends and Matt's parents. Fans took Sarah's and Manu's picture and so happy to see them together at the finish line waiting for Matt. Sarah is getting worried that a minute past 4 hours from the start of the race, she's anticipating Matt's arrival at the finish line.
MG: Iha, don't worry. He'll be here in a awhile. His average time is usually 4 hours and 30minutes.
Sarah: I know Ma. Pero ewan ko I get nervous pa rin eventhough ilang ironman nya na Ito. (Smiles nervously habang karga si Manu)
MG (laughs): I understand iha. Maybe you should put Manu down. Baby come to Lola, you're too heavy for you Mom.
Manu: No! I want Mama. (Clings tightly to Sarah)
Sarah: It's ok Ma. I can still manage (smiles). Namiss ko rin naman to ng husto.
MG (laughs): I guess it is time na sundan ninyo siya. Masyadong spoiled na sa inyo.
Sarah (laughs): Oo nga Ma. Kaya lang wala pa rin. Super spoiled to sa Papa nya.
MG: In God's time iha. Oh here's Matt. He broke his record... 4 hours 10minutes.
Sarah and Manu approached Matt once he crosses the finish line. He hugged and kissed his wife and his son.
Manu (reaching out for his Dad): Dada! Carry me.
Matt: Oh sorry Baby. I'm still drenched in sweat. I love you! (Kisses his forehead) This is the best part of the race, Love. Seeing you both waiting for me at the finish line.
The whole family had a celebration lunch after together with the couple's friends. Matt rested for awhile after lunch then later in the afternoon the three of them spent time at the beach waiting for the sunset. Manu was playing with sand while the couple sitting on a mat looking on.
Sarah: Love, sana before the year ends we will be blessed by another baby no? He is growing up fast and iba pa rin ang may kapatid d ba?
Matt (sitting behind Sarah with his arms wrapped around her): Yeah. Hopefully our prayers will be answered...but I also pray that you will be safe. I don't want you to go through what you went through when you were pregnant with Manu. I can't imagine losing you. Ok? Let's make sure everything will be fine. I'm sure God will give us a blessing if the right time comes. We just don't have to push it.
Sarah: I guess so. We'll just continue praying for it. I love you (kisses him on the lips)
Manu: Look Ma! (As he tries to make a sand castle)
The family spent the rest of the afternoon playing by the beach.
