Buddar's POV

It had been a week since the battle between the Sky Army and the Squids. We had won after Kayla, Wild, and I defeated Ender Chilla, ruler of the squids. But we didn't kill her, we just drove the darkness out of her heart. She now lives with us, in King Sky's castle.

I stared out at the sunset, by fiery hair dancing in the gentle breeze. I felt empty inside, I had recently discovered that my entire life was a lie. Kayla wasn't my sister, and her parents had never told me the truth about me. Who am I? I wondered, even though I already knew the answer. I was the daughter of Herobrine, lord of the Nether. But I couldn't remember him, or my mother, whoever she was. I probably should have guessed that they weren't my family, I looked nothing like them, and I didn't have the normal abilities of a wolf hybrid. Sure, I looked like a normal hybrid, but I could breathe fire, had wings, and couldn't transform into a wolf. I also had a white eye, my right one, which was always covered by my bangs. But I had never known due to the fact that it was hidden by a contact lens that I had never realized was there, until now. I still hid my eye with my bangs, but I didn't have the contact lens in. My other eye was brown, the way I had always thought it had been.

"Buddar?" I heard a familiar voice ask.

I turned around to see Kayla, the hybrid I had always thought of as my sister, standing in the doorway of the balcony. "You alright?" She asked. She knew I had been taking the whole 'adopted' thing pretty badly.

I sighed. "Yeah," I said. "I'm fine."

She gave me a sympathetic look. "I know that's it's hard for you, Buddar." She said. "But we'll be alright, and we might even find your dad one day."

I glanced down. "But, what if he doesn't even remember me?" I asked. "What if he never even knew about me?"

Kayla out her hand on my shoulder. "If he doesn't, just show him your eye." She said. "He would probably believe you if he saw it."

I turned to her, a slight smile crept onto my lips. It had been the first time I had smiled since we defeated the squids. Kayla smiled as well. "That's better!" She said. "Now, come on. Dinner's ready, and everyone's waiting for you."

Then we both turned and walked back inside.
