Cameras were flashing everywhere around me and paparazzis calling my name. But I kept the smile on my face. I pose, as I walk on the red carpet for the Grammys. I'm a nervous wreck. It's my first ever award performance. And the biggest names are here. From John Legend to H.E.R.
I wave at the cameras and walked off the red carpet. I sigh in relief of not being in front of the heavy lights. I spot my best friend, Felicia, waiting for me. She looks up and gives me her biggest smile. She rushes over to me and wraps her arms around me, "Keeley, you look amazing." She eyes my golden sparkly dress.
I smile at her, "Thank you. But you look gorgeous." And she did. She was wearing this sequins navy blue body suit to show off her curves, with silver flats to show her navy blue painted toes. Her make up matched her suit. Her hair was down in lose curls. Simple but cute.
We leave the back and made our way to our seats. As we're walking I bump into somebody. I look up and it's him. The guy I have admired sine his debut since 2013. My body shuts down when he places his hand on my elbow.
