"Scars still beautiful for me"

He said he love me too, since the day I save him. It was magical to me, he rarely showed his smiled when he's working, or meetings. He always showed me his smiled while he's around me.

There was few times I catched a glimpse, where he have this habit, put his left hand inside the pocket. Like he was fiddling with something solid. Now, only both of us in his office. This is my chance to asked about what inside his pocket.

"Sammy....I've been seeing you, fiddling with something in your pocket"

"Would you like to know?"

I nodded, as he urged me to come closer as near his side. Without warning I sat on his lap, my back was leaned back to his chest. I blushed, but he cutted me off with, held out a small badge. It was lotus figure, with pink colour. I was shocked, he still have it.

"I kept this all the time. To remind myself, I will find you"

My fingers touched the badge, I still have the same badge, even though it little bit worn out, he still keep it.

Flashback...

"Sammy looked what I bought!"

A little petite girl, running towards the boy with excitement as she held something in her hand, wave in the air. The stoic boy, wondered what was she want to show him.

"Here! This is showed that our friendship. I hope you will keep it forever, you will remember me, as I will always remember you"

She passed the badge, as he looked on his palm.

"Lotus?"

"Yeah, I was thinking when they weren't bloom, they don't look nothing special on the outside. But when they were full bloom, we will see beautiful on the inside"

Samuel was in deep thought. As he smiled a bit.

End flashback.

I blinked as flustered not looking at him. Unconsciously, he hugged me as his breath hit my neck. I can feel he sniffed me deeply. My neck feels tickle, I can't see his smile. But I know he smile.

The rest of the day went well. We went back home, and sleep. Weekend, Sammy told me he has unfinish business to do, he will catch me up later in the evening. So I was boredom staying at home, why I couldn't have a beautiful day walking outside.

I should buy some make ups, yeah I should. After shower, I went straight towards my wardrobe, open widely. Choosing floral pattern short sleeve blouse and white jeans. Satisfied with it, grabbed my bag and we out!

Walking the bustling city, as I walked looking next to me the shops I passing by. Abruptly, stopped at my favourite shop ,sell make ups that I mostly buy there when I need to restock. An hour later, I am done with the items I wanted. And my next target was to fill my stomach.

As usual I know where the short cut to the sushi restaurant at back alley.

Boy...didn't see that coming.

There's a guy was smoking in that area, but he looked in deep thought. I didn't want to turned back down going the long way to sushi restaurant. Well, now or never...

My feet quickly walk from him, passing him by. But my thought was cut when he spoke.

"Are you afraid of me?"

"Excuse me?"

"I asked again, are you afraid of me?"

".....no"

"Why not? Do you see this scar, you should be afraid of me"

"Judge based on cover, I do not afraid. But scars still beautiful to me. Inside and out, and by the way I'm in urgent"

Inhuman speed, he already trapped me between of my sides with his arms. I was surprised, and wondering did I do something wrong?

"You're pique my interest, what's your name"

"PYEONG!"

That familiar voice...

My head shot towards the voice, and it was Sammy.

Oh god...

This is not going to end well.

His fist connected to the guy's face. But he barely defeated. He's strong, but I knew Sammy was much stronger. As they both fought, that guy battered with bruises. But to be shocke

Sammy only have a bit smudged blood at the corner his lips and his fist dirty with dried blood.

"Ha ha...Samuel Seo, never knew, you have such soft heart over a girl"

That hit his nerve, Samuel came inhuman speed to punched him. But, I barely quick enough hugged him tightly in my embrace. He suddenly stopped moving, that was a good sign.

"I will remember this, Samuel"

The last of Jake spoke, and disappear. I was gulping some air, cause you know, I'm not a runner and I'm just do hitchhike only. Yup...hiking the mountain.

Now back to reality

Sammy drove the car somewhere where he wants to talk. To my surprise it was a place where we can see the whole city. We both went out from the car, as I felt times passes by. This whole thing needed to be started with me.

"Sammy...I'm sorry. I didn't know that guy,-"

"He's dangerous. Don't ever meet him again"

"But, I was just passing by-"

"Next time, you will be telling me where you're going"

Nodded silently, my waist being pulled closed to his body. I gasped surprised, with my cold breath hit his chest. Well look at my height.

"Its going to be cold"

Samuel wrapped us with his big winter jacket, I can't help snuggling into the warmness he's radiate. I giggled sweetly, "I thought this conversation getting serious. To be honest, it wasn't"

"You wish me mad at you?"

"Heyy, that's not what I meant!"

He silent me, with his deep kiss. His heart thumping just like mine. I can't help, I wanted to look after him, even he got older.

A sound of harsh chair being dragged closer to the table. The footsteps comes closer as a silhouette chuckled. Examined the pictures taken.

"I will find out this woman"
