i'd also like to mention that this story doesn't correlate to the movies / books, obviously things will be mentioned that happened in the books and stuff, but there isn't a Battle of Hogwarts or anything, for the most part it's pretty calm!
remember to drink water and get some sleep❤️👌🏻😁 kk bye
••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
the two of us would lay in the beautiful green grass, staring at the stars, the clouds, the sun, whatever happened to be in the sky at the time. what happened to that? where had you gone? were you not mine anymore? did time slowly move on, but my heart did not? am i stuck?
i will forever see the sky in your eyes, draco malfoy.

i stared at the sun in the sky. it hurt my eyes. it didn't matter. a flaming ball of fire. gives us light. gives us warmth. gives us life.
But right now I had to get to potions class.
I gathered my books up off the ledge of the balcony and wandered off to potions.
i had no one to walk with, so instead i acted like i was very in depth with something. something on my mind that i had not yet figured out. it worked. it fooled people. people didn't think i was alone. maybe i wasn't alone. i had my thoughts. those count as friends, i think.
oh, potions. so simple yet so complicated. the formula would be RIGHT THERE, you'd follow it exactly as itd tell you, yet it'd blow up in your face.
today was like any normal day. we were making a potion today that would give us luck, apparently. liquid luck. bo-ring.
i was pouring all my ingredients into a big cauldron, mixing until i couldn't feel my hand, when i saw him. we all saw him.
draco malfoy.
we hadn't seen this boy in forever. who knows where he'd gone.
i almost dropped my large wooden spoon into the cauldron when i spotted him. thin, fragile looking, draco malfoy. pale, hair thinning, draco malfoy. unhealthy. sick looking.
sad.
my heart ached. i felt a tear sting my eye. why had i so much sympathy for this boy? did i know him that well? no i did not.
i quickly blinked away the tear and got back to potion making. my hair fell into my eye, and i swiped it away with my robe covered hand.
stations for potion making were made for two people. i was alone, like always, as no one necessarily wants to make potions with me.
draco trudged over, slowly to my station, taking his place at the spot across from me.
"hello, draco malfoy." i said softly. i wanted him to know i cared about him.
some people think i should have been placed in ravenclaw. or hufflepuff. they say i give the same vibes as luna lovegood, a fifth year ravenclaw.
she seemed nice. i once started crying at the dining hall. the entire place stared at me. besides luna. she helped me. she cared for me, when no one else did.
luna had a place in my heart. she truly was a good soul.
draco looked up at me, his eyes sparkled slightly. i think he recognized me, from the train. i noticed the sky in his eyes before i noticed the almost black eye bags, caused by a lack of sleep. i hope.
draco's hair fell into his eyes, but he didn't care enough to move it. he looked back down at his potion, not moving his mouth or eyes in the slightest way.
"hello, pip." he said after a few minutes.
i smiled slightly, but didn't say anything. i felt draco must've had a bad few months. i wanted to tell him i loved him, but that's not really what slytherins do. they don't love each other as friends, usually. they tend to keep to themselves, more often.
"pip," draco repeated. i looked up, and he looked at me, too.
"hello, pip. i'm draco malfoy."
he stuck out his hand, for me to shake it. i realized he must be trying to restart with me. he must want to be friends. this made me smile.
i shook his hand back.
"hello draco malfoy. my name is pip ledger."
