As I ran closer to the place I had found the key, I noticed my heart was pounding harder and faster with each step I took.

When I made it to the place, I looked in my bag for the key when I saw a light. At first I thought it was my flashlight, so I reached for it. But I soon figured out it was the key.

I looked around and noticed a golden butterfly was flying around. I narrowed my eyes as it flew around like it was trying to get me to follow it, so I did.

When it finally stopped I noticed that there was a hole in a tree that was in the shape of the key, it was slightly glowing and it made me confused and curious as to what it was there for.

I took the key from the back pocket of my jeans, I put it in there while following the butterfly earlier. I slowly pushed the key into the hole and twisted it, after I did though, there was a bright light that blinded me.

I heard whispers around me as I finally began to come to my senses again. It felt familiar to be wherever I was, though I didn't know how or why.

I slowly opened my eyes, blinking a few times to adjust to the light. I looked around and found that I was surrounded by many people...that had pointy ears?

When I began to sit up I saw this magical world appear. I was amazed by the colors and the feeling that I was at home. Except I never got this feeling when I got home.

This world was like no other as if it was out of a storybook. As I started moving I was greeted by a boy who looked to be about my age.

When I reached my hand out for his assistance his hand felt warm and comforting. When I made it too my feet my head was filled with questions.

More questions than I could process, so I decided to wait and ask them later. The people with pointed ears must have been just as shocked as me because they looked at me with curiosity and wonder.

"Do you have a name?" A boy spoke out to me with the question.

"Luna", I said shyly, "...why do you want to know?" I asked him with a questioning look. He sat down next to me.

"I'm just a curious guy." He said while shrugging his shoulders.

"Oh", I responded quietly before I realized something. That's when it hit me...

Where am I?

"What is this place?" I asked him out of the blue. He sat up with an even more curious glint in his eyes.

"Well this place is the Kaira tribes territory outside of the Kaira realm. You entered the barrier that holds the realms together. The barrier provides a home for the protectors of each realm portal."

I sat there for a few seconds, trying my best to contemplate what was happening around me before finding my words to respond to him. I couldn't believe the nonsense this stranger was spouting to me.

"What in the world! Do you think I'm five?" I bursted out in frustration as he looked at me shocked since me, a stranger, did just yell at him.

"What do you mean? I'm telling the truth...? Did you forget your identity or something?" The male I had just met looked at me as if I was completely out of my mind.

After I heard him say that, I ran, I ran out of the grassy area that surrounded me and into a bunch of trees. While I was running I couldn't help but wonder if he really was telling me the truth or not.

As I got further and further, I began to slow down as I noticed I was lost, unsure of how to get home, afraid. When I was walking through the dense trees I herd a loud snapping. It was sound of a trap.

I was launched upside down before I could figure out what was happening. While I hung there my heart beat increasing, sweat formed on my body, and I was confused. Then out of nowhere came a green haired girl with matching colored eyes. She wore a warming smile.

"Sorry didn't mean to catch a...What exactly are you?" She asked me.

"What are you?" I asked her in return.

"I'm an elf from the Kaira tribe." She responded with a peppy tone. It seemed I was in this "Kaira tribe" territory for sure...
