Mike's P.O.V.
It is currently 5pm. I'm in the kitchen making spaghetti and meatballs. Ana is in the living room playing with Isabella and Jude is watching tv. Dani she's just in her room. She isn't much of a talker. Only to Jude. She won't open up but that's okay. It takes time. Hope she will soon.
"Mike, we should take the kids to the park tomorrow " ana said.
I agreed.
"Sounds fun" Jude said
And we all heard a happy squeal from Isabella that made us all laugh.
Dani's P.O.V
I'm laying down. Frankly I don't even want to go to the park tomorrow. I'm scared our mom was gonna come back. My arm still hurts but I'm used to it. I just want to be safe. Jude wants me to trust these people as he says they're safe but I just don't know. I can't.
"Dinner is ready" I heard mike say.
I moan and trudge downstairs and sit down with everyone.
"So Dani, we're all going to the park tomorrow. That's fun." Ana said.
I just nodded not really wanting to talk.
"Oh she loves the park" Jude told mike and Ana.
I sigh and eat as I hear mindless chatter.
After a few minutes I get hit with spaghetti by Isabella. Tbh it was kinda funny, I smile and chuckle a little as I look at her.
She's so cute. I'll admit that. She looks at me as she's giggling.
"Awww she likes you, Dani" Ana said.
"I guess" I mumbled.
I've always wanted a little sister but I was still scared to trust them. Will I ever trust them?
