None of us spoke. We simply waited outside as instructed by a certain man who called earlier. The despair in the atmosphere was suffocating and it was affecting Shizuka the worst. She had not spoken ever since she saw the corpse of Gotori and Yuzuki was still comforting her. I never met her, but It did not take a genius to know she was someone important, considering everyone else was depressed about it.
"Errm... You're Narukami Kurou-san, right?" The boy named Sasuke asked.
"Yes." I answered.
"Sorry about all this. This must feel really awkward for you, considering you nevered even met Gotori-san." Sasuke apologized.
"It's alright. You're Kibishi-san's brother, right?"
"That's right. My name is Kibishi Sasuke. I apologize if aniki gave you any problems." Sasuke apologized once more.
"Hehe, that's alright..." I answered again.
I really could not believe that such a polite boy would be the little brother of that bloodthirsty delinquent.
"Say, Sasuke-kun... Can I call you that?"
"Sure." He replied.
"What kind of person was Gotori-san?" I asked.
"Well. She was a good person. She can be a little spoilt and prideful at times. But her heart is in the right place." Sasuke answered.
"Not to mention she was really guillible. Remember that time when she came over to our house?" Kibishi joined in the conversation.
"How could I not forget?"
The two Kibshis giggled a little, though I did not understand the joke. Having conversations like that managed to lighten the mood, just a little. Whenever I looked back inside the warehouse, a picture of that brunt corpse always came up in my head. Suddenly, two vans and a long jet black limousine stopped by the warehouse. Men in white protection suits came out of the vans while the chauffeur of the limousine exited the driver seat and opened the door for his boss. A man with a well groomed hairstyle and a black business suit emerged from the vehicle. He also had large black frame spectacles and a cellphone at hand.
"Great, the old man is here." Kibishi lamented.
The man noticed me and came up to me and Sasuke. Kibishi and the man seemed to have noticed each other as well. However, they seemed to be ignoring each other.
"You must be Narukami Kurou, the Kusanagi user. I am Kibishi Tohru, leader of the Kibishi Mage family and the Kibishi Group."
"It's nice to see you, sir." I answered.
The man before me had created a serious and no-joking atmosphere. The man then ordered his men to secure the body and necessary evidence to be examined.
"What are you going to do?" I asked.
"The body and evidence will be brought back to the Kibishi Group for examination. A few years back, there was a demon who killed Yugao Sora. With the same injuries and circumstances of death, it could be possible that it was done by the same demon. We would be able to track down the demon for the information about the Yata Mirror's whereabouts."
The Yata mirror. Another regalia. Gotori was the previous owner before what happened to her. It was missing from the scene and it was assumed that it was taken by the killer. I knew examination of the body would yield results, however...
"Are you sure it's alright?"
"We already communicated to the police. The Kibishi Group has been given full authority to..."
"No, I mean, it seems disrespectful to..." I said.
"I'm a scientist. Scientists do not respect the dead." Kibishi's father coldly interrupted me.
"Hahaha..." Kibishi laughed suddenly.
"Respect? Of course you don't respect the dead. In fact, you don't respect anyone but yourself." Kibishi continued.
"Let's get this straight. Raidou. I only respect people who deserve it." Kibishi taunted
Both Kibishi and his father began staring each other with rage in their eyes.
"Do you really want to start something? Old man?" Kibishi talked back.
The atmosphere quickly got more tense and hostile. Something told me that it was going to get ugly if nothing was done. Fortunately, Sasuke quickly stood in the middle of them to stop them.
"Father, aniki. I know you two have your differences, but right now, we aren't enemies, right?" Sasuke said.
Sasuke's persuasion was a success. The two ceased fighting and continued on their own business. Several moments later, the white-protection suit wearing men were seen, carrying the body in some sort of portable capsule. The other men had some sort of vacuum cleaner device that took up the blood, both for clean up and evidence.
"That seems to be everything. We will find the culprit using the evidence and all of you will be notified as soon as possible. Sasuke. We're done here. Let's go." Kibishi's father ordered
"Yes, father. I hope we see each other again."
Sasuke bowed to all of us before going into the limousine, with all the vehicles driving off afterwards. With that done, all of us decided to take our leave. Kibishi was the one who left first.
"What are you going to do now? Rai-chan?" Yuzuki curiously asked.
"I'm going train more. What's the point of having this power if I can't protect anyone? Once I master this power, I'll be back to give those demons hell..." Kibishi declared before he took his leave.
Kibishi then ran off into the darkness. I looked upon the distraught Shizuka, wondering whether he would be alright. Yuzuki noticed my concern and assured to me.
"I got her. You should go back home."
Listening to her adivse, I walked my way back to my house. For some reason, it felt like the night was a lot longer than any other nights I had.

Perspective change: Shizuka Yugao
I sat and cowered in the corner. A one-armed demon covered in a white cloack that concealed it's appearance. I could not see its face, only his eyes could be seen. However, those eyes alone managed to strike fear into me. I had no control over my body. In fact, I knew it was not real, it was a memory. A memory I wished never happened. The demon screamed out to the people outside.
"Where is that bitch!? Get her out or I will kill her daughter!" The demon threatened to the people outside.
"You're surrounded, Deigura. And we don't negotiate with demon scum like you. Come on out, and maybe we'll give you a quick death." A voice that seemed to belong to Kibishi Tohru, warned
"You think I won't do it? Fine then, I'll just take her leg!" The demon known as Dregua said as he approached me.
I felt the younger, 11-year old me stricken with fear and terror.
"No! Mommy, help me!" I begged.
Suddenly, as though my call was heard, the wall behind me was destroyed. A woman with long brown hair emerged, equipped with a long spear. She was Sora Yugao, my mother.
"Mommy!" The younger me cheered.
"Shizuka! Get out of her and meet with your father. And don't turn back!" My mother instructed me.
"Okay!"
I quickly went out from the wall behind me.
"Finally! You're going to get it for what you did to my arm with this new power..." I heard the demon as I ran.
I did not turn around as I was told to do. A red light appeared as I ran and a force came after wards. I was thrown away a great distance and was knocked out. It was dark at first, but my eyes opened up once more. The reality I was in was still not real as I was staring at a younger Yuzuki, Rai-nii and even father.
"Zuka-tan! You're awake!" Yuzuki said in relief.
"Yuzuki-nesan? Rai-nii? Daddy? What happened? Where is mommy?" I asked.
No answer came. They simply looked away from me to avoid eye contact. Their faces turned grim. Fear came to me again. I got off the ground and began to question them again.
"Why aren't you saying anything? Where's..."
Before I could finish, I looked up ahead and saw a giant hole in my house. By instinct, I quickly ran to check what happened.
"Shizuka! Stop!" My father ordered
Yuzuki and Rai-nii also tried to stop me, but I did not comply. I ran past by the stationed men from the Kibishi Group, who failed to stop my approach. When I got there, my body froze. A hideous carcass was found. Blood was splattered onto the wall with a large word that meant death on the wall. A skeleton laid there with barely any flesh left. What broke me was what was in her hand. It was the same weapon my mother used. It was then I knew what happened. I fell to my knees, and then I screamed.
