Chapter 6 Home of Hanoi

No One's POV

A boy around the age of 16 walked through the halls of looked to be a mansion. His grey eyes looked like he was on the brink of death. He wore all black clothing including a hat covering his hair. He came up to a door which he knock politely on. A voice came from the other side.

?: Enter.

He entered the room which turned out to be the Master Bedroom. In it was a man with multi-coloured blue hair who was sitting next to the bed where a woman with long pink hair was lying with medical machines attached to her.

?: I know you lost yesterday, Itsuke. I didn't know that Playmaker had a Synchro Monster. It's my fault for making you duel.

Itsuke: No sir it isn't. Not even you could predict that Play...Yusaku would use a Synchro Monster. It's my fault for losing. My Bounty deck is meant to be string enough to beat both Playmaker and Revolver. I should've duelled better.

?: You're just trying to cheer me up.

Itsuke: You're already in a lot of stress, sir.

?: I know. If it wasn't for Kiyoshi, Hanako could be watching the evolution of this world.

The man tossed a card to Itsuke.

?: Duel Revolver and use that card.

The boy nodded.

Itsuke: Yes sir.

Itsuke left the room and shut the door quietly.

Yusaku's POV

School was the same as yesterday. Everyone wanted to find out if I really did become a girl. I somehow managed to avoid most of them. But now, I'm on my way to Stardust Road. I'm not going there to see Kusanagi or Jin, they're back at their normal destination. I'm going to the Kogami home. The reason I'm going is to see Dr Taki.

Flashback

Baira came up to me as Ryoken, Spectre, Dr Genome and Faust were leaving.

Baira: If you'd like Yusaku, I could run some tests on you to see if I could find anything that could've caused this. Just come by after school tomorrow.

Yusaku: Fine. I have nothing else to do anyways.

Flashback Over

I was now walking up the walkway or driveway towards the mansion. I remember the last time I was here. Kusanagi and I found out that Revolver was Ryoken Kogami and arrived as he was holding the hand of his deceased father, Kiyoshi Kogami.

Now I'm having thoughts about what Xander said during our duel. How could my father have worked for Kiyoshi Kogami? And if he did, was he also behind the Lost Incident? Is that the reason why I was in it? I got so lost in my thoughts that I almost walked into the front door of the Kogami Mansion. I looked at the doorbell for a few second before pressing it. Not long after I did, the door opened and revealed Dr Taki.

Kyoko: Hey there Yusaku. Come in.

I took off my shoes before entering.

Kyoko: I've still got to finish setting the equipment up so could you wait for a bit?

I nodded and sat down somewhere and waited. As I was waiting, my thoughts went back to yesterday.

Flashback

I exited the duel room with a stoic face. I was trying to hide the fact that I was frustrated with not getting answers from Xander. Then I tripped and fell on top of Ryoken who also fell to the floor of the truck with me. Why was he in there? I was so close to his face and felt my face heat up. I saw the slight shade of pink on his cheeks as well. I heard giggling and Ryoken asked me to get off him.

Flashback Over

Why did I think about that of all things? Then I heard an all too familiar voice.

Ryoken: Why are you here?

I turned my head to see Ryoken.

Yusaku: Dr Taki asked me to come here to run some tests on me.

Ryoken: Well have you seen Spectre?

Yusaku: Last I saw, going to Duel Club with Aoi.

Ryoken: Weren't you in that club?

Yusaku: I can't go anywhere at the moment without getting unwanted attention. But did you come up to me for any other reason.

Ryoken shook his head. Soon Dr Taki returned.

Kyoko: It's all set up now, Yusaku.

I nodded and went with Dr Taki.

Ryoken's POV

I don't know why but, for some reason, I feel different when around Yusaku. I feel warm inside when I'm around her. Why is that? Then for some reason, my duel disk glowed just like how Yusaku's did yesterday. A message played as well.

Xander: Ryoken Kogami. I hope you remember me, if not, I'm Xander. Meet me in Link Vrains. If you don't show up, I'll make sure that you regret it.

I was pissed. I ran up to my room and sat on my bed. I readied my duel disk.

Ryoken: Into the Vrains!
