Chapter 8 Nightmare and Information

A/N: I finished my exams on the 26th November and I'm finally getting back to this. I'm thinking of starting a 5D's story based on a video from Yugioh Everything. Hope you enjoy and sorry for updating so late.

No one's POV

A 6 year old Yusaku was lying in a hospital bed. He has been there since he was rescued from the place the Lost Incident had occurred. His green eyes slowly opened right at the moment a doctor entered the room. When Yusaku sat up, the doctor was shocked but smiled.

Doctor: You're awake. We thought that you were in a coma.

As soon as the boy's eyes landed on the doctor, fear engulfed him. The doctor noticed this and tried to calm him down.

Doctor: Hey, it's ok. It's ok. I'm not going to hurt you.

After about 10 minutes, Yusaku calmed down.

Doctor: I almost forgot to tell you this but, happy birthday, Yusaku Fujiki.

After hearing this, the boy started looking around the room, trying to find someone or something.

Doctor: Something wrong?

Yusaku: M...my parents.

The doctor's smile faded and he looked at Yusaku with sadness in his eyes.

Doctor: I'm sorry. They had this delivered here for you.

The doctor handed Yusaku a letter. The boy took it and read it. It was in his father's hand writing.

To Yusaku Fujiki

In the six months that you've been gone, I came to terms with myself. I have lost all love for you. I no longer want anything to do with you. I don't care if you're on the streets or in an orphanage, it's what you deserve. I'm glad you were kidnapped.

The cotton candy haired boy burst into tears after reading the letter. The doctor held him in a comforting way but it didn't help.

Yusaku's POV

I woke up, sweating and with tears going down my face. I just had a nightmare about something that happened to me as a kid. I wiped the tears off my face and realised that I was still in the Kogami Mansion. My uniform was folded and on the end of the bed. I then noticed that I was wearing a black nightie. Through a slightly opened curtain, I could see that it was now the morning. I got changed into my uniform and left the room. I soon found the living area where Spectre and Dr Taki were both sitting. Dr Taki spotted me.

Dr Taki: You're awake.

Yusaku: Why am I still here?

Dr Taki: You were still asleep after the tests finished and it was too dark to take you home so we let you stay here for the night.

That's understandable. Although, I don't know how to feel knowing that the same group of people I swore revenge on let me into their home.

Spectre: Have some breakfast, Yusaku. After that we can leave.

Yusaku: Leave where?

Spectre: School of course.

Oh right, Spectre goes to my school now. I just had cereal for breakfast because it's what I normally have. I was about to wash my dishes when Faust or Aso stopped me.

Aso: There is no need to do that.

Yusaku: Why?

Aso: Because we would like you here to discuss the results of the test yesterday and what Ryoken managed to get from Xander.
