Anna closed her eyes as she focused on her hearing. She could hear the leaves rustling as the branches scrape against the trunk of the trees, the wind sweeping right through her. Loud footsteps caught her attention as she threw her hatchet into the direction of the sound with no hesitance. The swoosh of the hatchet was heard before it landed into a tree, the person successfully dodging it as the footsteps were becoming louder.
Then the footsteps stop, a few feet away as a loud exasperated huff was heard, Anna opening her eyelids back up and seeing the feet of the person. She then slowly looked up at the individual, revealing it to be a rather irritated and angry Jenny. Despite her size, she angrily stepped in front of Anna, her face looking up at the taller woman as she shoved Anna with her two hands.
Anna didn't budge, watching the other woman as she knew this is how she would react. "YOU BITCH!", Jenny yelled as Anna just stared at her, Jenny instantly pounding her fists into the other female's chest. A prominent red hue adorned Jenny's face, "You hurt her! And the kids, where are they?!", she cried.
Anna had a twinge of jealousy course through her before she shook it off, slowly and hesitantly, trying to wrap her buff arms around Jenny's small frame. Jenny didn't seem to notice as she punched harder, her hate induced gaze never leaving the white hare mask Anna wore.
Before Anna's hands could have any contact with Jenny's body, a flashlight was aimed at her face, temporarily blinding her. Jenny looked to her side as a sprinting figure with a white mask, black thin streaks decorating it, wore a sleeveless pink track and field shirt complete with the pants. Upon closer inspection, it was a ginger haired girl with two braids, trying to get Anna's attention away from Jenny.
"COME GET ME!", the female yelled as she mockingly gestured Anna to chase her. Anna growled at the sight, swiftly turning towards Jenny, "It ain't over", she said before running after the ginger.
Jenny just furrowed her eyebrows, "Hey! Don't think you can run away from me!", she yelled as she tried to grab a hold of Anna, Anna brushing her off easily as she bolted, hatchet in hand. Jenny ran after the two, in hopes of getting some answers from her "not so official wife". The fog blocked her vision, losing sight of them half way through as the sounds of painful screams flood the air with liquid splashing.
All of a sudden, someone's figure was seen through the fog, their breath being heavy as whoever made themself's known. The ginger, who became the bait for Anna, ran out. Staticy, white liquid being prominent around her track suit, a huge gash running across her back to her left arm.
The girl then took off her mask, shaking her head as the hair strands followed the movement. Her blue eyes was what stook out to Jenny, the hues looking at the mask before strapping it around her waist with one hand. Her other hand was on her wound, wincing terribly as her eyes then darted to Jenny. Jenny's eyes widen as she immediately tears another piece of her blouse and approaches the female.
The girl just looked at her before nodding, Jenny taking that as a go, closes the distance between them as she wrapped the cloth around her arm. Jenny then ripped another piece of her sleeve and applied it to the huge gash, the red head biting her lip to suppress her painful moan. After, Jenny put the taller woman's arm over her shoulders.
"I know a place where a medkit is located", Jenny said as the girl looked at her once again, "The name is Jenny by the way".
"Thank you, I'm Meg", the female smiled warmly despite her poor condition.
They both walked in the fog, Anna's lullaby only being heard from a distance, before suddenly stopping all together the further they went. They took that as a good sign as they went at their own pace. Jenny being mindful of the person leaning on her for support.
