Your Book of Shadows is where you store everything you learned on your witchy journey. Its a sacred book that can literally be a school notebook if you want it to be!
Now your probably wondering well how much money is it? Well all you need it a cheap store like walmart and like $5 to $6. It can be as fancy or basic as you want it to be but i suggest hiding it from others as its a private thing, Its like a witch diary when you really think about it.
Now you can also make your own BoS if you wanted to! There are great videos on youtube and other video sharing websites you could look up and make a BoS that way! That way it would be infused with your energy, will, and intention.
My BoS is both Irl and online my Irl one is a black leather notebook with a silver dragon symbol on the front. The leather is shaped to feel like scales. I got it at a book fair at my school 2 years ago! It was about id say $8. You can cleanse your book if you bought it if you would like but don't feel obligated! Cleansing is a little later in your steps to being a witch and its a little advanced.
Ok! So you may be thinking " Yeah i have my BoS but....WTF DO I PUT IN IT!!" Well my troubled witchling friend as a beginner id say focus on a few things at a time start with:
~ Moon Phases ~ Write down what thing intrest you in witchcraft
~ Types of witches ~ Draw witchy things
~ Types of Magic ~ Make a list of things you might need for witchcraft
~ Write down things you like to do ~ ect, ect, ect.
So now that you know what to write go crazy! Remember the only limit to what you can do is you so if you want to look up more and write more then you do that! You go show those normal people just how weird they are! Love you all thanks for reading!!
